We have been in SE Asia for 5 weeks and this is by far the tastiest food we have had the whole time! Speedy service and very good value for money, very decent sized portions too! Definitely recommend eating here.

We came to Koh Samui in June this year, and quite by chance happened upon the Imchai Restaurant. It's on the Main Road entering Lamai. You will find a sign on the opposite side of the road saying ISLAND BOOKS. We were amazed when we first looked at the menu and the reasonably priced meals but wondered what the quality... More

The first night we ate here, everything went wrong. Because the place was so busy (as it always is), the waiter who served us was clearly stressed and messed up our order resulting in us waiting nearly 45 minutes for our food, which came out wrong and had to be remade but BOY was it worth it when it finally... Awesome, reasonably priced and utterly delicious Thai food. Which of course you expect in Thailand however ImChai, sat aside a dusty road, transports your tastebuds to hidden places. From the bamboo seating surrounded by flags of every nation to the cards and mementos in the back of each menu, this is a restaurant loved by those who visit, be they... More

I've been training Thai Boxing for 6 weeks now in Lamai and I ate 2 meals here almost everyday since I discovered it. The food is very fresh, the portions are by far the best in Lamai and the atmosphere is very relaxed. I recommend this place to everyone who wants to enjoy good honest Thai food.

Ok so that was bit over the top but trust me this is the best food we had in the whole of our 5 week stay in Thailand & China. We were staying at the Buddy Oriental & found Imchai as we were getting our bearings & we are so glad we did. The food is AMAZING & so cheap... More

My husband and I went to Inchai for lunch mostly because it was close to our hotel. The reviews definitely encouraged our decision and we weren't disappointed. The food is tasty and cheap, and the service is friendly. My husband got the Massam Curry which along with most of the stir fry's and curry's was about 70 baht. I ordered... More

What a find!we were staying at the Buddy Oriental hotel and this place was within staggering distance. Best thai green curry of the whole holiday and with 2main meals, rice and a couple of beers for around £5 you cannot got wrong. It's true as written in a couple of reviews that your meals don't always come out at the same... More

What a charming little restaurant. The menu is excellently set out in both English and Thai with photographs of each dish and the option to have it mild or spicy. As a lover of spicy food I had been disappointed at some restaurants in Samui and throughout Thailand, having specifically asking for spicy food yet receiving bland dishes. Imchai, however,... More
