Nice and riht on the beach

We didn't stay at this resort, but had lunc and dinner in the restaurant several times. The menu is to extensive, and most of the local Thai dishes are very good and very reasonably priced. Dont expect anything but thai style - and you will find great dishes to affordable prices.

This was one of the closest restaurants to our hotel and my daughter want to have dinner here. Could not believe the prices and the service, charging very high prices for not that great food. We had come just after they taken a large order from a group of Chinese and they had a very large order and were so... More

Stumbled upon this place whilst riding a scooter around & decided to give it a go as its in a beautiful part of Lamai. We wished we hadn't! The food took so long to come out & it wasn't even busy. It was lunch time & only 5 tables to serve. I had fiah & chips which were very plain... More

Found this place by chance and loved it Situated on a beautiful quiet beach, this restaurant served great food for a lot less than we have been paying in lesser places. Really authentic Thai food served by really friendly staff and the food came very quickly also so we will return here without doubt.

I live down the road from uncle rang, been a bunch of times, every time i was disappointed. The prices are super high for the thai food, probably triple than Lamai average, i can understand them tho, this part of Lamai beach has the expensive resorts and for western point of view prices still look decent. Now the service, God... More

We are staying at the Renaissance next door. Short 150m jaunt along the beach with great views of the bay. Went here for dinner one night, when we were fed up with eating in the hotel. Made to feel very welcome by the friendly staff. The restaurant has a mixed menu of Thai and Western dishes but we never bother... More

My husband and I have been staying at the Renaissance hotel for the past 1 week and we always come back for their delicious Thai food. The papaya salad (baht 90) is to die for, better than what we had in the hotel and in many other Thai restaurants on the island. The staff are extremely friendly and they offered... More

Definitely go on a little adventure and find this place. We didn't stay there but up the road and walked down to eat there twice! Not only was the price good but the good was so great! Really good quality and well cooked seafood. As well as some nice thaifood. The atmosphere is lovely being almost on the beach and... More

We didn't stay at this resort, but had dinner in the restaurant twice. The menu was extensive, and most of the local Thai dishes were very good and very reasonably priced. Steer clear of the BBQ pork ribs. They were thin and the meat was tough. But every other dish was great.

This restaurant is a fabulous find. My husband and I are staying at a near by hotel and we happened to come across it on our walk to the shops. It is fantastic. Has a variety of different foods on the menu and is extremely cheap for how good the meals are. For what we paid for 4 drinks, 2... More
