Fast, fresh, simple food

Beachfront location, fresh seafood, quick service. Great place when you need a break from the 5 star restaurants. Stroll in in your flip flops, t-shirt and shorts. We enjoyed shrimp fried rice and green chicken curry. Word of warning, 'extra chilli on the side' is rather hot.

We would not recommend this place as the restaurant is not actually very nice, not well decorated, and It looks more like a canteen than a place you would Take your partner to. Not for couple! Also the staff is not welcoming at all, don't expect a smile nor a good service there... If you are thirsty or hungry than... More

The location of the restaurant is beautiful (as long as it's not the raining) and food was the best we ate in Lamai beach. However, the service is very poor. The restaurant has many staff members but they all appeared uninterested and annoyed with having to serve the customers and they were more interested in their cell phones and chatting... More

As a vegetarian it was difficult to find vegetarian dishes in Lamai Beach. We found this restaurant through recommendation of a taxi driver. I asked if I could have the panang curry with tofu and it was amazing. Best curry I've had my whole life. Definitely recommend !

I have been coming to Lamai for ten years and live here for months at a time. This restaurant was probably one of the best up until October 2014. I am guessing that they have moved the chef to there new restaurant at Bophut, along with all the other lovely staff that used to be there. The food was atrocious... More

This restaurant was busy with tourists and locals with views of the sea if you can get close enough. If you don't book eat later to get a better view. The food quality is good but when we visited some of the fresh seafood was not available. Service is below average and you have to keep repeating requests and do... More

Ok, we had it easy, our Thai friends brought us to the restaurant and chose our dishes. And it was fantastic. We started with Tom Yum soup with seafood. Delicious refreshing, spicy but not overwhelming. We also had steamed crab with a spicy dipping sauce, jumbo prawns, a clam dish with vegetables, pad Thai with shrimp, a dish of minced... More

I come here often for this reason. All my Thai friends love it also. My favorites are the Tiger Prawns in Tamarind Sauce, and Deep Fried Red Snapper. The service is OK but the wait staff could do with better English. The View is wonderful, just ask for seating near a fan if it is hot.

You will see an extensive network of several branches all over Samui but the food is not genuine. Its not THAI, local style . Attracts a lot of East Asians,( China nationals, Singaporeans, Koreans, Hongkongers etc) who love seafood. What's my complaint? Seafood is smothered with too much coconut cream, whether its the octopus soup or curries. Octopus should be... More

We went for a ride on a rainy morning in Koh Samui and found this great restaurant. Situated just past grandfather and grandmother rocks, Hin Ta Hin Yai. At the start of Rocky's Beach. Since it was raining we could sit at a table closest to the beach. Staff are friendly and efficient, When the rain had stopped they opened... More
