If you ever get to LaGomera ,go to playa Santiago . Get down to an old shack on the beach ,is fab for midday tapas. Lovely guy serving ,with suggestions for combining dishes etc and the portions are great. Music is just right for an afternoon chill out ! Location is probably one of the best I have visited, and done... More

A must when visiting Playa Santiago. Great welcome and great food. A perfect place to sit in the sun (or shade) and relax! Food is served all day and there is plenty of it! It's very easy to forget time and linger!!

As places to relax go, they don't come any more informal than this. Perched above the tideline on Playa Santiago's shores you can be assured of a welcome from Owner Eric with food served during the day and music as the sun goes down, where people laugh and dance and stay far too long before heading home. Outstandingly good fun!

Paradise, great welcome, views and ambiance are great. Food was good and owners are really friendly. Not too far from hotel. Easy drinking and eating.

Not a building of architectural significance but, hey, who cares when the owner greets you like an old friend and the food is to die for. No wonder the place is frequented by the locals. Highly recommended for a delicious lunch at a very reasonable price. Wi-Fi is available after 5pm.You are literally right on the beach!

Known affectionately as The Shack, this beachside spot is good for drinks and food from a limited menu of freshly made dishes. The kitchen is tiny, so order your food straight away or face a wait. The old sofas on the beach must have got too old and have been replaced by plastic ones while tables and chairs are a... More

This is a very basic Beach cafe that is well positioned at the waters edge, Popular for drinks at sundown, it has generally good WiFi, excellent music, friendly staff, and great value. Didn't try the food so unable to comment.

La Chalana is a small, informal bar situated on the sea front and with direct access to the pebble beach and the sea. It's a good place to meet with friends for drinks but I don't usually eat there. It's popular with locals as well as tourists. It's quite a charming little place but the surrounding aera could do with... More

This is the first place we go for a drink on arrival in La Gomera, our holiday doesn't start until we have been there. It was looking a little too smart on our last visit in November though, we preferred it's hippyish rather scruffy look and we missed the old sofas. Bring back the interesting bits and pieces hanging from... More

This is just the palce to relax. Comfy old sofas on the beach. Eat at a choice of plastic or metal tables but don't expect too much; it's better for a coffee and a couple of beers.
