The fish starters and mains were all delicious on the 3 nights we ate there. Too often freshly caught fish is ruined by being overcooked and this was not the case here. The pasta dishes for those of us not eating fish were perhaps a bit too richly sauced. The local dessert was a delight. Staff very friendly and attentive... More

As starter I shared with my boyfriend the vonguele who where from top quality with a delicious sauce. As main course I had black pasta of salmon in a sauce of lobster and scampi. My boyfriend had rump steak (solomillo). Both dishes where from top quality and were delectable. the ambiance is very romantic with a beautiful sea vieuw. The... More

Great service and beautiful dishes! We had the clams and the croquettes as starters, main cod filet and grilled blue shark which was absolutely superb! Fantastic local white wine Montoro (fresh and with mineral tones). Do go see these guys, service is great and very very friendly!

If this restaraunt was in South Kensington, I'd probably not venture through the door .. if the quality was expressed in UK prices it would truly be astronomically priced. The accent is on fish, its all spark fresh from the the wholesaler round the back and he gets it straight of the boats you can see from the restaraunt balcony.... More

We ate here twice during our stay, and every meal our party had, was absolutely superb. Starters were large, & we sampled a huge bowl of clams, fish croquettes, squid, several salads, including a goats cheese one. Mains we tried included delicious home made pasta with lobster, fresh fish (shown on a platter before choosing) including tuna, whole sea bream,... More

Apart from the disappointment at the restaurant being closed for the first 10 days of our holiday the wait was well worth it as we ate elsewhere in the area and can confidently say again this is the best food on the island. The restaurants fresh seafood and hand made pasta dishes are very good and a range of meat... More

Although Playa Santiago on La Gomera is blessed with many great restaurants, if your thinking about somewhere more intimate with outstanding cuisine then Junonia is where I would head for. On a menu of memorable dishes Owner/Head Chef Fran's hand made pasta is something I will never forget and always look forward to.

Having done the fish course to death in the week I spent on the island I decided to try a ravioli dish with a pear sauce. It was without a doubt the best pasta dish I have ever been privileged to eat in a restaurant. I was in awe at the quality and presentation of the other dishes that we're... More

This restaurant has a nice view of the sea. It is primarily a fish restaurant and the fresh fish is good, I am used to good sea food and so for me the restaurant was OK but not spectacular but for a small place like La Gomera it was a cut above the others. There is no childs' menu so... More

Picked this restaurant on appearance, nice balcony overlooking the harbour, and a friendly atmosphere. To start we had a watercress soup and a fish soup, both clean and light. Main courses were a perfectly cooked tuna steak with a coriander sauce and a classic spinach and ricotta ravioli with butter and sage sauce. My 8 year old daughter was served... More
