Yes, the fish soup was nice, but our main courses were dissapointing. We decided on fillet steak as the main course and maybe that is where we went wrong, as the steaks were cut in half and were pretty tasteless. One of the main courses was served in the gorgolzola sauce...insipid, as they had just put the cheese into cream... More

I visited Junonia a few times when I stayed on La Gomera a couple of years ago and it still remains fantastic! The service is friendly but professional and relaxed - no hurry when you are on island time. The view over the harbour is lovely when the sun is setting. The fresh fish is unbeatable and beautifully served. I... More

This restaurant has fabulous fresh seafood, an indoor seating area, an outside terrace and tables on the pavement with views over the Playa Santiago harbour. The first time we visited the service was superb, but the second time we felt quite forgotten!

This is the best and most popular restaurant in town. Absolutely recommended. You need to make a reservation a few days before, as most evenings they are fully booked. Or go out eating late, when the tables are free again after the first shift. We only had a chance to go there once, but we wished we could have visited... More

We enjoyed an excellent early evening dinner at Junonia in late March. It's a restaurant specialising in seafood, although it also offers a range of meat dishes, such as steak and guinea fowl and one or two vegetarian options. After a generous starter of garlic prawns, our party of four chose respectively: a whole fresh sole (delicious, but fiddly with... More

We popped in on chance - and we're lucky to get a table - you need to book!! Super steak, good wine selection, not expensive. Best place in town!

Booked a table (always necessary) outside looking at the harbour. The menu is mainly fish and not really cheap by local standards. However the staff are not only charming but extremely professional. When we required clarification on a course the waiter brought the chef out of the kitchen to explain. The food the service and the wine was all excellent.

Had a lovely lunch here on the last day of our holiday. Great food and service. Compared to the bland fodder we had in our hotel, this was the real deal. Mojo verde and rojo sauces were excellent. Next time we go to la Gomera we won't wait until the end of our stay!

Possibly the best meal we have had while on holiday! We knew of the reputation that this restaurant had but we were completely blown away by everything about it from the charming welcome to the superb food and wine which we enjoyed. Watercress soup and a Don Antonio salad were followed by a fillet steak done to perfection and guinea... More
