Very Good Restaurant

We had been to this restaurant some years ago and were keen to see whether it had stood the test of time. Good food. Good atmosphere. Good service. What's not to like?

We stayed in Playa de Santiago, La Gomera, for 1 week and enjoyed 3 lovely meals at La Cuevita. Great fresh fish, lovely waiting staff. Open for lunch and dinner.

Recommended and a spot of late lunch was required. Friendly, family atmosphere and quirky location. Good fish and cost friendly add ons. I would return, without a doubt next time we are in the area.

This is a real treat to dine in a restaurant thats built into a cave but with a pavement and outdoor seating next to the main entrance to the harbour. We always do a very long lunch of tapas when we visit Playa De Santiago and we choose an outside table. It helps to sit out ,watch the world go... More

Had a lovely lunch here. Service excellent. Would suggest indoor table as the street table not great view-wise and indoors you are actually in the cave - much nicer ambience.

This is our favourite restaurant on La Gomera. We still think so after 25 years. Fish is always my first choice, but the steaks are fantastic and the wine selection is great. We have never been disappointed. Staff are always friendly, and the atmosphere cozy and unique. We always look forward to going and when taking guests can depend on... More

This is a nice little restaurant built into a cave in the cliff-side. The service we received was very good, but then we did make the effort to speak a few words of Spanish to the staff. All of our dinners were nicely presented and very good to eat. The cuisine is definitely Spanish and certainly worth a try.

What a great place. Very busy every time we passed by so had to try it. Staff v friendly and tried hard to help us understand their Spanish. BTW "sousci" turned out to be sushi! Great food. Not to be missed.

I am giving this restaurant 5* in comparison to others in La Gomera, I am not comparing it against other on my travels as it would not be fair. In the town of Playa de Santiago this is by FAR the best, friendliest and well run restaurant around. We ate here 4 years ago - It was great, We ate... More

The restaurant is in the village of Play de Santiago and is set into the cliff face. The food and service is excellent and it is worth a visit.
