I returned to Haroun after a number of years and was impressed by the changes to the restaurant. You are able to regal yourself with squid flavoured with garlic, grilled prawns and a variety of wonderful fish, fresh from the Mediterranean, accompanied by the famous Testira, at a table facing the sea. I would recommend Haroun's delicious crème caramel for... More

Pretty place near the sea where you can eat traditional Tunisian food adapted for the taste of tourists. I recommend the fish soup as a starter, grilled fish for the main and a fruit salad to finish.

The food is not great, nor the service, but the prices are. We left after the starters. You won't get sick eating here, and the food is ok, but you will get at least the same for a better price somewhere else. The location is nice by the sea but the whole boat terrace seating outdoors feels a bit unauthentic.

I dined here on the recommendation of a few taxi drivers, but think this was because it is one of the most expensive restaurants in the area. The setting is wonderful. All the outdoor seating is on a ship. A great deal of investment on decor. The food main was average but the fondant dessert was lovely. The entertainment was... More

Well we went July 1srt 13, the waiters were pretty good, but the food ... I've ordered a "Filet de Boeuf" and a "Royal couscous", the sauce had not really any taste. The French fries ... Well I could not finish it, I tend to think the oil was very old and for the couscous, the meat was old for... More

Ok, you will not be "amazed" nor "surprised" by the food, as it is pure classical tunisian food, rather well executed. The decor is spectacular, facing the water with high ceiling. Service is consistent, but a bit too fast, as they try to accomodate all guests as if your were part of the tour buses who are on a schedule.... More

I was looking for a top dinner in Houmt Souq so I headed to Haroun. Location is great and I think it should even better during summer. I can say that at the end dinner was good but not as I expected. As 'mis en bouche' I've got the usual harissa, olives and some raw vegetables (carrot and radish) in... More
