Had my birthday dinner there, very nice meal and very friendly staff. Got a really tasty gluten free dessert, a pastry with cherries, which had Happy Birthday inscribed on plate. Was really impressed as few places bother about gluten free. Thanks for the treat!

This was one of the best meals we had in Italy. Breadsticks are homemade and incredible (and I'm not normally a breadstick sort of person). The service was incredibly kind and professional and our waiter helped us pick out a great Barolo. The asparagus dish they served (in some kind of puff pastry with cheese) was AMAZING. Veal stew was... More

This is our second visit to this lovely restaurant. It's a family owned restaurant, with bothers are in front of house, while the mother cooks the lovely food. It really is like eating in someone's house rather than a restaurant. The food is always good quality and the service excellent.

Uncomplicated, good piemontese food with a slightly modern touch. The ambiance is cozy and nice, and the service very good. The wine list is representative and the prices are also very good - do not hesitate.

Nice all round experience. Great local food, wine list and service. Would recommend to anyone visiting the Monforte D'Alba area looking for a well priced quality Osteria. An osteria in Italy was originally a place serving wine and simple food. Lately, the emphasis has shifted to the food, but menus tend to be short, with an emphasis on local specialities... More

The high score of this place is the location. As strange as it might sound, it does not have a view and nonetheless is extremely suggestive and cozy. A courtyard in the heart of Monforte, with a couple of terraces where the tables are spread. In the air you can smell the bbq meat being cooked, and just by the... More

We were advised to come here by a local. Since we brought our dog, we came in and politely asked if there was a spot available outside to sit for us and our dog. My husband speaks some Italian (but they didn't know) an heard them scolding and cursing a lot to each other. After 5 minutes a guy came... More

Wow, setting of this place is amazing, you almost expect Pinocchio to come round the corner! The food and wine are stunning as well, smallish choice but all great. I had the veal with truffle shavings to start, followed by gnocchi and pork in honey chestnuts. The wine was an awesome Barolo which was excellent. All in all a great... More

Excellent service, buzzy atmosphere, lovely food and a great wine list. By far the best meal we had in Monforte d'Alba.

This out of the way Osteria is worth its weight in gold and a true gem you will remember forever. The location and atmosphere is beautiful and the food out of this world. There were 5 of us including a younger diner who enjoyed fresh gnocchi. We had a beautiful Fresia wine and antipasti, veal braised in Barolo and rabbit.... More
