Humming Bird nature reserve

Take a trip to see the Humming Birds, it's amazing they are encouraged in by the keepers with sugar water and fresh fruit. Loved being close up to them and hearing their tiny wing beats.

Saw so many different birds, been to Tobago several times and see more every time, went on Island tour with a driver named Lester and he was brilliant spotting birds, knows what to look out for, we even saw a tiny humming bird on its nest believe it or not on a telephone wire, remarkable

Lovely friendly restaurant that offers great meals at sensible prices. Best place to eat in Speyside.

Pretty basic setup but clean with Friendly staff. Not much choice, but a nice change from the more expensive hotels.

A welcome beer after the walk into Speyside. It's not posh and Frank doesn't approve of you only having one drink! I should think it has a good atmosphere when the band is playing.

We ate twice still this restaurant recently. The chicken and fish were very good. I really like their sauces for they are a nice blend of spices. Even their salad dressing is unique. I have had previously, the best lobster dinner ever (on Tobago) here. I remember when they were first starting and the food has always been delicious. I... More

Frank who runs the restaurant will be only too happy to get you a cold beer, absolutely fresh lobster strait from the sea and acquaint you with the name and species of the birds flying through the trees just outside this most authentic of Caribbean cafe experiences, and he takes credit cards!

When we travel in the Caribbean , we always try to allow LOTS of time for everything. Not everyone rushes around at a fast pace. We don't expect speedy service anywhere. However , this place was a bit ridiculous. We didn't order anything special...just their regular lobster lunch and a couple of Carib beers. We got the beers right away.... More

There were plenty of birds in and around the restaurants, probably because the staff put out fruit for them The Bananaquits, mocking birds and grackles are cheeky and it is unwise to leave food on the table while you are getting something else.

Third year running, we always stop off for lunch, scrummy and plenty to eat. Big big lobsters, we have to share one...
