Restaurant on the Sea.

A great place for an exciting twist to local cuisine. Nice ambiance. Great tasting food, Nice sea view. Service could have been a bit faster. Had lunch there at least 5 times, the last time in July 2013. Sunday on each occasion. I wish they were open on Saturdays and located closer to Scarborough... read more

The food on Tobago can be very delicious and flavourful, but the food at Jemma's was reminiscent of the flavourless, bland food back home in Canada. Additionally, the prices were fairly expensive.

This restaurant is a must visit! We had lunch there after a morning snorkelling in Speyside so we're all very hungry. The view is great but the food is fantastic! The bread fruit pie is to die for!!! Could not rate the service and food high enough. This was the second time I have visited, but the first time with... More

Food was great, service was poor. Waited over 2hrs for food as well as other diners. Not going back again.

Friends Mel and Lin had told us about this place - and also to get there early ! Good job we did ! We got a table for two, by the window overlooking the sea. The white shutters are propped open by wooden poles to let the sea breezes in. We were there for Sunday lunch, and arrived just as... More

Stopped at Jemma's as an included part of an island wide day tour. Honestly I wasn't expecting to much. Boy was I surprised and pleasantly at that. The location can't be matched. Gentle sea breeze, open windows complete with a huge tree growing up through the middle of the restaurant. The food was tasty and presented family style. In other... More

A window seat in Jemma's with the sea breeze gently blowing in and the sound of the waves must surely be one of the best places to eat. We have never had a bad meal there over visits spanning 15 years. Breadfruit pie is gorgeous , the best anywhere , as are the garlic prawns. Service is relaxed and unhurried... More

Although the view was fantastic, the service was slow and the food mediocre. It was like no one wanted to wait on us. The worst part was the begging dogs. As I was waiting for a to go box and admiring the view one of the dogs tried to take my chicken. Maybe a different time of day would be... More

Went to Jemma's as part of our Tobago Land Tour. Luckily we had a Tobagan guide who put us straight with a couple of local delicacies. The breadfruit pie OMG, never even heard of breadfruit but this was truely delicious, so much so, I intend trying to find some breadfruit in England, as I really must have a go at... More

If you have a schedule to make, or you're starving and need to eat quickly, don't go here. Otherwise, relax, look at the beautiful water and prepare to gorge yourself on good Caribbean home cooking.
