Jemmas is unusual as it is a tree house but its lost some its charm now it has been extended. But still worth a visit.

We stopped here during our drive around the island. A lovely view and breeze sitting up the tree house looking out on the bay. We were served by a delightful chatty waitress and the food came promptly. We ordered a lobster each which were huge and we probably could have shared one and had one other smaller dish however it... we've bee here four times over the past 6 years, mostly as part of a tour package. The food is ok but not outstanding, and the service is atrocious, You 're left with the feeling that if they serve you at all it 's something to be grateful for. It 's a great location, hopefully someone who believes in their... More

It was a pleasure to have dined at this outlet. The meals were fantastic and not to mention plentiful and tasty. The service was also outstanding as well with the pleasure of meeting the main lady "Ms J". Anytime u're up on that end make sure you pop in and take the window seat that looks straight across to little... More

Tobago is not the culinary centre of the universe however this restaurant must deserve its number one spot in the tiny Speyside village. The food is good and plentiful (rather than inspiring) with the breadfruit pie something that everyone has to try with their meal. The service is both friendly and efficient. It is certainly a family run business. So... More

Over the last seven years I have been to Jemma's at least once every year. The wonderful tasty food keeps drawing me back every time I visit Tobago and I have never been disappointed. The view looking out on the ocean and the outlying islands is the perfect back drop for the meal and the salt tinged air flowing through... More

Allow yourself time to enjoy the setting, it's amazing. The wooden house is on two levels, the ground floor just being 'open' to the elements and the upper floor semi 'open' - it's been built around a couple of trees hence the local name of Gemma's treehouse kitchen. We had a great meal, feasted on fat shrimp in a garlic... More
