Jemma's seaview treehouse is advertised extensively in tourist literature - it sounded intriguing and a 'must do'. Having driven from Turtle Beach in eager anticipation and with much excitement, the location of the restaurant surpassed expectations and we couldn't wait to sit down and order our lunch. This is where it all started to go wrong. We were ignored by... More

As you are slowly negotiating the winding road along Tobagos's south coast, you may still find you can miss this wonderful gem of a place to stop. In the treehouse itself (not THAT high) is a reassuringly basic technique for keeping the shuuters open on the lovely beach view. But even this is not as enjoyable as the generously sized... More

After reading some ot the Tripadvisor reviews we decided to travel to Speyside to see the views and eat at Jemma's. The trip was long but enjoyable from Crowne Point. When we arrived at Jemma's we were "greeted" by an uninterested waitress. We took our seats read over the menu's and waited to place our orders. After sometime she came... More

This is not my first visit to this restaurant but I never thought of doing a review. This review is of my most recent visit, where reservation was made for 5 people. The journey to Jemma’s, from the southwestern end of the island, is about one hour , depending on the driver. The trip along the narrow winding coastal road,... More

The views are great, food pretty good and prices reasonable, but the service is absolutely abysmal. Be prepared to spend at least half an hour before you get shown a menu, then half an hour for them to come back to you and take your order, half an hour more for drinks to arrive, then another half an hour for... Great food at reasonable prices and lovely views out across the sea. We ate lunch here twice on day trips around the island and loved it. They cater well for large groups and the food was delicious. Service is not the speediest, but you can just kick back, relax and take advantage of the views while your food is prepared... More

For all the years this establishment has been going it remains a place where food is freshly prepared and generously served at great prices. The service is as fast as freshly cooked food takes, relax, it comes with smiles and good humour. Ignore the plastic tablecloths, uncomfortable chairs and sloppy entrance, it's a worthwhile place for lunch. The fish is... More
