Great breakfast

This was our morning breakfast staple. Great bacon and eggs and really great portions. They also serve a great coconut bake and salt fish. The owner is really friendly and you can watch all sorts of wildlife from your table as you eat.

Cheno's Coffee Shop is THE spot in Castara for delicious breakfasts (eggs, bacon, salt fish, coconut bake, etc) and also a must on Saturday night for BBQ and pan music. The whole town comes out on Saturday and limes around, most of them at Chenos for the yummy home cooked BBQ meal. Cheno is a genuinely nice guy, willing to... More

After some pretty mediocre food throughout Castara we finally found a decent place here. Friendly people throughout, interesting breakfast options as well as a good fun steel drum BBQ night (we both had BBQ chicken, which was right for the mood), and the price is right for where the food is being pitched. So whilst this restaurant does not offer... More

My brother and I have recently returned from an amazing week in Castara. One of the highlights was definitely getting to know Cheno and his brothers and hanging out at the coffee shop for everything from an amazing cooked breakfast including coconut bake, bacon and eggs to an evening listening to steel pan, Cheno's brothers performing and drinking rum punch... The best coconut bake I've ever had. My boyfriend and I have been dreaming about those little slices of deliciousness since we got back to the US. The iced coffee was the best I've had in years. It is located right along the path to the beautiful waterfall too!

A great place for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Their Saturday BBQ is a treat with tasty food and great music. Try the curry goat. The home made ice cream is nice on a hot day. Friendly owner. Good service. Good value. Enjoy!
