Good local food and varying selection of lunches. Do not miss the Wednesday evening drumming and Limbo event.

We ate here twice during our few days in Castara and really enjoyed the food. Service is very friendly and VERY relaxed - fast food this is not! Drum night on a Wednesday is an absolute must for kids and adults alike - delicious Tobagian dishes followed by fantastic drumming and amazing Limbo. How people can manage to limbo under... More

an Awesome spot if you can find it. Great Food, a fun place, and your with family. It Rocks hard on Limbo night but watch out for the bush rum, it can make you smile uncontrollably.

Excellent cooking with exquisite side dishes...makes me want to experiment a bit more at home. Menu changes daily. Good value. Hope that you soon sort out front-of-house staffing as lack of a member of staff to greet makes the place seem, at first, a little unwelcoming.

The food was great at this restaurant. We asked if we could have breakfast but were told the due to lack of staff they couldn't accomodate this, the next thing we knew we were being offered scrambled egg & Toast (and it was the best eggs we had in Tobago!) so great service. We had dinner once which was squid... More

The Boathouse was a great place we went for dinner a few nights, a beer here and there while relaxing on the beach. It is right on the beach and has a great seating area facing the bay. The food was spectacular and Sharon was so extremely nice and provided a great personal experience to my husband and I. We... More

Nearly on the beach with about 4/5 tables on terrace overlooking it. Food is cheap and cheerful and nice. I had chicken and goat pelau with a bit of salad. They have african drums on Wednesdays and pan music another time I don't know when. Definitely worth having a meal there. Good place to snorkel too - Little Bay.

The Boathouse sits kind of around the corner from Castara Bay. We parked in the centre of the beach then (facing the sea) turned right and there's a passage somehow leading to steps going back towards the land, then you walk down a slope towards a little bay where the Boathouse sits. The Boathouse couldn't be much closer to the... More

This was certainly one of my favourite meals on the island - with choices of meats, seafood and sauces. The tastes felt very authentic, with our first try of onion bake very well received. The ambiance is really fun and has a great view over it's own beach and blue sea. We went at lunch time with was a great... More

We went to the African drumming night & limbo dancing (on wednesday nights). The drumming was fantastic. The limbo competition was great fun. My husband won a prize--for being the oldest! My daughter won a prize--probably for giving the best craic! The food was excellent as well-good creole menu
