well, lovely but second choice!!

Lovely place to eat. spacious, clean, nice food. Would definately visit again. Had a nice atmosphere in the evening, but, if looking for a traditional Irish experience, not sure this is the place to be. Staff lovely, food good, ony problem is that you could be anywhere in the world! So note to... read more

There are two places in Terryglass, both right beside each other, so your choice is fairly simple. The Derg Inn is larger of both, food wise it's ok, advantage might be that it's much larger so on busy nights better chance to get table. Atmosphere a bit soulless inside on quieter nights. Service is a bit hit and miss. Good... More

Really incredible burgers! Nice pot roast. Tennessee Chicken was my daughter's favorite and the curries are quite good. Nice local ales. Irish cider should be tried. A cut above the average pub and open every day. Terryglass is worth a walk around.

Good food, okay service. Not keen on some of the ales. Stay away from the Irish Gypsy...not a great tasting ale.

We only popped in here for a quick drink but were so enticed by what we saw other patrons having, we just had to try also...the kids declared the scampi was the best they’d ever had (the lightest of batters) which believe me is quite a compliment. Chips & onion rings were also good and the (only one) pint of... More

Visited with my wife and 3 boys (they had eaten already so just got a bowl of chips). I had the monkfish, very nice but over salted sauce. The side if vegetables was pickled with rick salt (I never add salt to my food). My wife had the portebello mushroom burger, very overpriced (that's the standard it would seem for... More

A lovely relaxed place to enjoy top class food. Joyce and Mick, the owners are both heavily involved in ensuring top class food and service for all. Its a busy spot any night of the week and also has music at the weekends. I was here on Monday night for my birthday and enjoyed it very much.

Was looking forward to eating here after reading all the good reviews. We arrived after 3 on a Sunday and it was busy. We were given the lunch menu and ordered garlic bread to start followed by burgers. The garlic bread was very burnt - I was shocked that a chef would think it acceptable to send it out like... More
