Only drank, no food

Wandered in for a wadadli, did not sample food. Staff friendly and courteous, seemed to want to look after their customers, ensuring they got safely out of the restaurant (there is a little bridge and a step up on to the walkway that you could miss when dark). A great place to base yourself for a day on the beach. Loungers and parasol are priced at $26 XED per day which is about £6. Good food for lunch with mains varying between £6-£12. The cookies and cream desert would rival any Italian gelato seller. Marvellous Marvin is a friendly chap and the entire team serve with a smile

Overpriced food that doesn't taste of anything. We went for the curry, which comprised of a few (literally four / five) chunks of tough meet floundering in an oily yellow sauce. Avoid. Service is equally off the mark... A shame, as it's in a great location.

Styled as a typical Caribbean beach bar, this is the main hangout for visitors to Jolly beach. I liked the wide range of dishes - I recommend the Orange molasses BBQ ribs which were delicious, as was the cedar plank salmon. Also a good kid's menu and the bonus of a play area with swing and slides (if the paradise... More

Cool spot on one of the nicest beaches in the world. Great food, great smiles and a chill atmosphere. Calm waters allow a family friendly hang out and the beach volleyball net out front gives it another appeal. Well done!

This place has the perfect location to do a booming trade.....unfortunately the service is never with a smile and it just seemed like they couldn't be bothered to serve us! We went there for a bottle of beer most nights to watch the sunset on the beach but also visited there for lunch and once for breakfast. The lunch (Greek... More

This little bar is on Jolly Beach just steps from Tranquility Bay Resort and Jolly Beach Resort. The food is very nice with a Caribbean flair. The staff are what makes this place though. They are friendly, outgoing and do all they can to please. We don't have one bad thing to say. For beach chairs and umbrellas, be sure... More

Castaway’s is a hopping little Beach Bar/Open Air – Café located at Jolly Beach. It is family owned and run and establishment with a nice menu of local seafood favorites. We enjoyed tropical smoothies while our Lobster Fritters Appetizer was being prepared. Our main dishes were a Tempura Lobster Salad and a Grilled Chicken Salad and both were delicious. The... More

Such a great location and friendly staff. The food in general is good but a little pricey for a beach bar.You get discount if staying at Tranquility Bay.Happy hour is from 4.30 for 2 hours and sometimes followed by two for price of one. Busy at this time and for sunsetting.

We are used to expensive beach restaurants but this one is really pushing it! The service is so slow, the food average and the tip is already in the bill. We were forgotten about on 3 occasions (I suppose this is our fault for going back!) The waitress kind of laughed and said,
