This is the first restaurant we ate at arriving after a long haul flight from the UK. The restaurant is perched high on a hill top overlooking the Sugar Ridge hotel and harbour area. There are many tables for two with a view for that romantic evening dinner. Adjoining the restaurant are three covered lounging areas alongside a small pool... More

Great setting, great view great pool, end of greats. Was here for a wedding dinner where all meals had been pre ordered. Service was slow and disorganised and the food when it arrived was cold and fairly bland. Based on this performance gave it a miss for dinner during the rest of our stay.

This is Sugar Ridge's "fine dining" restaurant. The grounds of the restaurant are beautiful. The mountain top view and open dining atmosphere is worth a trip for dinner. If you go early enough you can snag a drink by the beautiful infinity pool during sunset. Service is great, but the overall food taste and quality was just okay. The menu... More

Beautiful location here inside the Sugar Ridge hotel....but you'll pay for it!! By far our most expensive meal on the island ($170 for 2 people who split a bottle of wine). The food was pretty good but where we got stuck with pricing was on the water. We didn't specify that tap water was fine so they poured bottled water.... More

We visited Carmichael's twice on our recent trip to Antigua, and both times we were thoroughly impressed with the service, food and atmosphere of the restaurant. Fiona served us both evenings and she was great - very attentive and accommodating. The food was amazing! We had oxtail ravioli, steaks, fish cakes, lamb, chicken and it was all done to perfection.... More

You will want to find your way to Carmichael's if not just for the view. Located at the entrance to the road that leads to Jolly Harbour, make your way up the hill. Be sure and make a reservation though. The food is excellent and Carmichael's is one of the premier eateries in Antigua. The value is also there for... More

Great location and wonderful views of Jolly Harbor marina below with an inventive menu, local specialities, and great service. The carpaccio trio and tuna appetizers were fantastic and the local snapper was one of the best I've ever had. The wine menu is a bit limited, but quite affordable. The group I was with enjoyed Carmichael's so much that we... More

We wanted something special and this place was just right. Picked up from Jolly Harbour to the restaurant . Beautiful views especially for the sunset. Food was good, yes on the expensive side but definitely worth paying for. My steak was perfect and husbands duck cooked pink as it should be. The creme caramal was thick and creamy with a... More
