My dear, this place is my personal paradise! Every dishes from menu are wonderful, a specially fishes or sea foods. Every evening barmen mixed cocktails with local fruit and fresh juice. I think, Mai Spa is the best place on all Long Beach. No doubt.

New restaurant opposite Famiama Resort in Duong To, outside seating, staff friendly and efficient, service was quick. Food was beautiful, both our curries were tasty, spring rolls nice. Thought it was a little expensive for where the restaurant is, all be it there are few restaurants this end of Long Beach. I recommend people try this place.

If you like eating when your partner hasn't been served, warm white wine and general Fawlty Towers approach, this is the place for you. We ordered 2 starters and 2 mains, one if us had starter and main before any sign of the other starter. We then chased the staff, who promptly brought starter and main together. 10 mins later... To be fair, my rating is mostly with regards to the coffee shake, which, if you've been craving a frappucino this is as good as it gets without Starbucks around. And only 30,000d, so around $1.50 This review is for the beach location, I did not try the roadside one closer to the Night Market. I did also eat here... More

We tried this restaurant, which was very busy and made a good effort to fit everyone in. Drinks came quickly but it was 60 minutes before any meals came, and several came another 30 minutes after that. Some drinks and courses never arrived, but they cheerfully removed them for the bill. Strangely, people arrived after us and seemed to have... More

The night we dined here it was especially busy, & the staff were run off their feet. This would explain why we were forgotten for one of our courses but being so busy we did understand. The food was good the portions were large& had we had more time would have returned

The restaurants along the beach beginning with May Restaurant are really good. First, you can sit at a table right on the beach with your toes in the sand if you want. Second, the ambiance is perfect; gentle breeze and waves, colorful lights hanging in the trees, people enjoying each other, friendly wait staff, and great food. We are at... More

Notice that there are 2 May Restaurants on Phu Quoc, I write about the one ca. 3 km south of the night market in Duong Dong, right on the beach. Owned by a German and a Vietnamse they serve good food in a warm and cosy atmosphere with attentive staff, the chief waiter is a girl, who speaks a pretty... More

Very good food (had rice with seafood and my husband beef Luc lac) at May restaurant & bar - a simple beach place along Long Beach at Phu Quoc (not to confuse with Mai).

Really, really great food. And we are NOT too often using superlatives. Lots of taste (sometimes been missing that in Vietnam), large portions, US$ 4-5 per dish. And ON the beach. Go for the fried shrimp spring rolls - they are just SO much more than they sounds to be. Also the lemongrass-chili-dishes are very tasty!
