I totally recommend this restaurant. Cristiano, the owner, is very gentle and polite. The menu offers only the best products from the local market. Everything is tasty from appetisers to desserts. The meat is treated in a particular way, making the taste fantastic.

today we had lunch here. We prderd 4 sandwiches to go. They have english and german menu available. They have a lot to choose from so for everyone there is a sandwich. All our sandwiches were very good. They don't have a restaurant license. This means that they have a few high tables and chairs but they are not allowed... More

Visited L'Osteria del Ghiotto after reading about it on Tripadvisor before my trip, was not disappointed... The restaurant was fully booked when we arrived, but they took the trouble to set up an additional table for us, no menu... just a recommendation which could not be faulted. The food was excellent, simple dishes executed to perfection, would highly recommend a... More

It's the most unique dinner experience I had in my week in Tuscany. There is no menu. The meal choices are recommended and then served. The antipasti are excellent. The pasta is awesome. But the steak (about 3 pounds of excellent meat) are spectacular. The house red is so good we bought 2 bottles to go. Service is very good.... More

One of the best ways to describe this Osteria is it simply ticks the boxes of everything you would expect from the romantic ideologies of eating in Tuscany. The Osteria is typically rustic, the staff are typically warm and engaging and the surrounding views are typically stunning. The food itself was exceptional with course after course of mouth watering delights... More

We were lucky enough to find this wonderful family run restaurant in early June 2013. We visited other restaurants while we were in this area of Tuscany with our family but this one was by far the best. From the local wine from a vineyard just outside the village to the melt in the mouth homemade pasta and great service... More

Reserved in advance, and it was totally worth it! Honnest and fresh food prepared with love by a passionate family. Not only the meat was fab, the pasta and even the tomatos from their own garden tasted divine. although we had the meal last year, I still remember how lovely it was. Best Italian diner i've ever had!!!

Excellent food. You must book in advance. Meat is original Chianina. Even dessert is excellent. I love the service. Family run.

No fault at all! I don't know if it's Italy or the food but everything has been so wonderful so far! My fiance and I both had pasta that's tomato-based and I just have to say they are so wonderful! I cannot think of anything else to say but the superlative. Someone on our tour has recommended this place to... More
