We started going to the Cove after the Kingsley Club closed (which was previously our regular east coast luncheon outing) - so asked friends for a recommendation as we missed our bi-winter visit over to have lunch at the Kingsley and sit in those comfortable rockers on their wonderful veranda..... well we have now become converts to The Cove -... This restaurant is owned and run by the lovely laurel ann and she makes everyone so welcome . The setting is super, when you find it! Try the crab backs and the flying fish and finish with rum and raisin bread and butter pudding and/or cove fudge pie - yum!

We live next door to The Cove so know it well. The owner and chef,Laurel Anne Morley, is a superb cook and hostess. Her daughter Judy looks after you on the gallery. The rum punch is special. Genuine Caribbean flavors serves in very simple surrounds overlooking the crashing waves on Cattlewash beach wit ozone blowing in your hair. Very casual and very... More

We were staying on the east coast and went here for lunch en route to our accommodation. It was really good - the flying fish was the best I tried while in Barbados. Home made lemonade was yummy too. Simple surroundings, but great view and really authentic, well cooked food.

I can highly recommend The Cove for a real Bajan Cuisine treat. The food was excellent, real Bajan home cooking. We were a party of seven and everyone agreed, the food, location and atmosphere was everything you could wish for. So many choices on the Sunday Buffet and every one a treat. We are back on Barbados in November and... More

We've been to both Barbados and The Cove before but it's still a delight, I love the food and Laurel Anne's warm hospitality (and rum punch) is amazing. When we were there it was only open on Sundays and Thursdays so check before you go and do book a table. You won't want to miss this.

We were recommended here by a friend who assured me it's the best Sunday buffet in the island. I have nothing to compare it to, but I can say its a Sunday buffet that wouldn't be put of place in a top restaurant in London. But of course in London you wouldn't have the owner and chef Laurel Ann explaining... More

We have eaten at The Cove many times but felt that today it surpassed all previous visits. We had an excellent table with a stunning view of the surf on the east coast and began with a Rum Punch - no better way to start! We ate the crab backs, followed by the pepper jelly fish and squeezed in the... More
