WindNWaters is at it again, down and in on the beach in BGI!!!!. Fairmont, Cafe Taboras in room dining at its best. We ordered the Bajan Mac N Cheese, which re-dinfines a Mac N Cheese, and I dare you to compare!! and also the thin crust pizza with goats cheese, rosemary, and tomato which was excellent. We ate lunch at Cafe Taboras and found the service excellent, the food very good and the view stunning! This restaurant has the right mix of elegance and "casualness". Looking forward to our next visit to Fairmont Barbados and lunch here!

At the suggestion of a friend, I visited the Taboras Restaurant on October 19th, 2013 for their Buffet Breakfast. Overall I had a very good meal and I thoroughly enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere. The buffet did seem limited to me compared to other popular breakfast buffets on the island due to the price of $60 BBD + 10%... More

Hubby and I walked down the beach from Glitter Bay our first night on the island. Tired and hungry we decided to see if they would take walk ins and they did. We were early and almost had the restaurant to ourselves. I had not done enough homework before hitting Barbados and just did not know where to go that... More

This restaurant is the poolside restaurant of the Fairmont Royal Pavilion. We stayed at the hotel and ate here on the first after a long flight from the UK. I wasn't expecting much, not sure why it is a fairly casual restaurant but it was excellent. The food was really good and the service attentive and friendly. The following night... More

Cafe Taboras was the first dinner we had on the first night of our honeymoon. After a long flight (and short dip in the ocean), my new husband and I just wanted to eat somewhere close by. Luckily Cafe Taboras is one of the restaurants inside the Fairmont so the commute to dinner was literally a 1 minute walk. Started... More

We stayed at the fairmont pavillion and ended up having multiple meals at cafe taboras. Dinner is the highlight here, we had some great snapper and shrimp dishes. The breakfast is good too. Good service.

We stayed next door at the Glitter Bay condos. Cafe Taboras was about a 2 minute walk and we went there several times for lunch during our stay. They were very friendly - especially with our 4 year old son. They also had a nice children's menu for him. Lunches and service overall were top notch. Prices were high but... More
