Stepping into this riad is like discovering a little gem. A very authentic, family-run piece of beauty and quiet. Don't miss out on the kitchen: "the misses" must be one of the best chefs to prepare truly original Morrocan food. All delightfully spiced, brilliantly prepared and served with an overdose of generosity. What an unforgettable experience that was! The only... More

Riad itself was gorgeous. Table and overall ambience lovely. Food?..well, the starter soup was very nice, the ten veg dishes all cold and basic were smothered with a tonne of coriander, the main tagine undercooked with a funky smell making me wretch. Dessert I left as it was pathetic and just drank the rose wine I asked for instead. They... More

The food was very good. But it was a huge amount. It felt like we had ordered 3 main courses. The atmosphere was very nice and cosy. It is also possible to get beers.

This place is excellent The food is Moroccan (like all the other restaurants here) and it's one of the great cuisines What makes it special is the quality of the vegetable dishes. The proprietor calls them salads, but maybe vegetable mezes would mean more to anyone who has been around the middle east. If you have been to Ottolenghi in... More

We had lunch here upon the recommendation of our Riad owner. It was a maze trying to find this locale but once there it was a beautiful and quiet Riad. The dining area is in the main courtyard decorated with beautiful arabesque tiles and amidst a garden. I ordered soup and my companion had a main dish. The cucumber soup... More

The food is really very, very good, and the place itself is very nice, in a nice small courtroom with colourful tiles and plants. We had a set menu, with about 10 different starters, chicken couscous, lamb tagine and a traditional dessert with tea and coffe. And the portions are huge. As other have stated, don't be put off by... More

When the owner told us the price, 200 dirham per person, wine exluded, we thought: well that' s a bit much for our request of only soup and couscous, considering the local alternatives... but when we arrived, our table elegantly laied out in the colorfully, lushly decorated, truly exotic courtyard, and we were presented with our own huge terrine of... Wow, what a find! Not the easiest place to locate as you have to venture down a couple of very narrow and dark (so bring a torch!) alleys but boy was it worth it. Set in a beautiful riad courtyard, the tables were set up for a royal feast. The owner and staff were extremely friendly and hospitable, and genuinely... More

We ate here on our one night in Taroudant but didn't stay in this Riad. There were 5 of us and our meal was absolutely delicious. It was a real feast and despite having two rugby playing lads with great appetites, we could finish everything. The meal consisted of A very tasty chickpea soup to start, followed by salad(11 plates... More

We had been told that the food was good by a friend who dined here in 2005. That is a while ago so we did not know what to expect. We were a large party so we went to visit in the afternoon as they were putting up lights and tinsel for New Year. We asked for lots of vegetables.... More
