I arrived on Monday evening w/o having made reservation. Initially told a reservation is obligatory, but a brief exchange of words and I was advised I could get harira soup and chicken tagine. This riad is tucked away down a narrow alleyway...you won't stumble on it. On arrival (for dinner) we were greeted by the proprietor and seated at a large table in the central area of the riad, next to the open air courtyard. The surroundings are lovely - traditional plush furnishings, brightly coloured tiles, lots of plants. A couple dining at... More

We had dinner here on a recent trip to Taroudant. We ordered our food beforehand and brought our own wine. The riad is locally owned and very attractive. The patron served us and his wife was the chef. We had harira which is a lamb and chickpea soup to start with followed by a vegetable stew and pastilla which is... More

We visited this restaurant on a Saturday in February and were the only persons there. We ordered a soup, salad, tagine and dessert. When the salad came there were 11 dishes which were very tasty if overwhelming. The chicken tagine was also large. It was a very good value meal in a nice location.

Having read the reviews, we booked a table and arrived to find we had the place all to ourselves. (Booking is important though, as they cook to order). So we found ourselves sitting in the best seats in this amazing, traditional place, being waited on by the family who,own the place and cook the food. As others have said, any... More

A very special dinner in a very special surroundings. In this haven you are away from the chaos of the streets outside and get a little taste of hidden taraudant. The food was exquisite and as others have mentioned... Extensive! Way way too much food which is a shame to waste so go here when you are very hungry. Also... More

Real Moroccan food with excellent flavors in a nice Riad patio! Try the saffron chicken and the definitely eat the salads before. I'll be back here one day!

Stepping into this riad is like discovering a little gem. A very authentic, family-run piece of beauty and quiet. Don't miss out on the kitchen: "the misses" must be one of the best chefs to prepare truly original Morrocan food. All delightfully spiced, brilliantly prepared and served with an overdose of generosity. What an unforgettable experience that was! The only... More

Riad itself was gorgeous. Table and overall ambience lovely. Food?..well, the starter soup was very nice, the ten veg dishes all cold and basic were smothered with a tonne of coriander, the main tagine undercooked with a funky smell making me wretch. Dessert I left as it was pathetic and just drank the rose wine I asked for instead. They... More
