During my stay in Maenam went to Oncle Noi twice. Once to check it out, and second time to check if it gets any better. Unfortunately not. All stir-fried dishes were swimming in the same unbiquitous salty brownish sauce with the same set of chopped veges. Sweet and sour fish not really fresh. It's a family-run place, atmosphere is great,... More

After arriving late, had no idea where the restaurants were we stumbled upon Uncle Noi. It would not have been our usual choice with plastic cloths and garden chairs, however there were a few people in so we ventured in. We were warmly greeted by a lovely lady who got our drinks and advised us on the menu. Being new... More

Good And authentic Thai food! I like Stirred minced chicken with basil leaf or Phad kra prao. It's really good one of my favorite dish! A must!

After a long walk we found Uncle Noi's typical Thai cafe but really tasty food. You watch your food being cooked in a very small kitchen and there is only one person cooking so you will have to wait for your food but it is worth the wait. If you want typical Thai food at cheap prices and you are... More

Loved this authentic place. Not anything fancy by any means, but super delicious Thai food. I loved the green curry and my husband raved about the jungle curry. If you're looking for a good Thai meal and are cool with the roadside spots, you should hit Uncle Nois.

I went to this restaurant following the tripadvisor suggestion, and was totally satisfied! The prices are good (I usually pay around 120 baht for a meal with a soft drink), and everything I tasted was good! Chicken with cashew nuts, fried noodles with seafood, pad thai, various curries - you name it! A must, when you're in Mae Nam.

Just as it should be hot enough to knock even a spicy food lovers socks off! Make sure you don't let then talk you out of spicy if you enjoy authentic preparation. Street style, not a seats on the beach spot. So expect a non polished Thailand experience. Our experience was a littler soured as tables are quite close to... More

A group of 3 we travelled Thailand for 3 weeks visiting a number of areas, North, West and East. This was my favourite restaurant of the whole trip. Service was perfect. Pepper steak was the best I had (I tried 5 places, various prices, this was the best value). Another evening They had ran out of steak so I was... More

The title says it all really. The food is as good as anything I have eaten in 4 weeks in Thailand; and the staff are really switched on. I could not understand why it was so quiet . Give it a go!
