Best traditional pizza you can find in Malta and Gozo!

Whenever one visits Gozo, it's a must to drop by to Maxokk for a delicious pizza or ftira with the best local products! Served hot right out of the oven, and nothing else can compare.

i suggest you stop by and order a pizza from here as it is the best on the island with its traditional taste of what the local products have to offer.

It's a ftira (type of bread) also similar to a pizza but it is absolutely to die for especially with the local produce such as Maltese sausage, tomato, ġbejniet, potato. It is then baked in a traditional and very old wood oven. We bough a few different ones, went to Ramla il-hamra, found one of those benches in the sun... More

For an authentic cultural experience, a visit to this bakery is a must. My advice is plan ahead and order your pizza/ftira in advance, whenever I have done this my order has either been in the box waiting for me, or has just been taken out of the oven.

This traditional style bakery in the heart of Nadur will leave you with an authentic taste. The dough is delicious, and all the pizzas include thin sliced potatoes as one of the ingredients. I highly recommend booking the pizza/ftira before, cause it's always crowded. If you're imagining an average restaurant, don't. There aren't any chairs or tables; the place is... More

This is no fancy restaurant but a small street bakery where ftiras and pizzas are being genuine&homemade. You probably have to wait between 20-30 mins for your order&it is only a take out place but the wait is Always Worth it because the price is reasonable&not over the top. Plus the food genuinely tastes good because it is made from... More

Well appreciated mid-day snack made with fresh goat's cheeselets made fresh in a wood fired oven as you wait(30 minutes). well worth waiting for and not expensive. this is not a restaurant but a walk in bakery doing fresh pizzas and 'ftiras'.

We visited this place after reading such glowing reviews. I must admit that this place is worthy of such high praise. Don't expect 5 star atmosphere, this is a no frills mom n' pop operation but the food is awesome. The location is not hard to find, almost anybody in Nadur will guide you to it. Be patient because orders... More
