We visited the Golf Hotel on two occasions during our stay in Silloth on Solway. One was for a Sunday lunch which was a very good well priced Carvery and the second was an evening meal, yet again excellent quality and good price. Very helpful friendly staff and dog friendly to.

The food was great my son recommended the Golf Hotel. The staff very friendly and they also allow dogs in as well. As we were a family they catered well for the kids.

We visited just for a meal whilst stating in Silloth for a week. Food is very good well cooked pub style meals. Service was excellent and so friendly. We had a very enjoyable meal as an alternative to cooking for ourselves in our cottage. Portions are generous and prices very reasonable.

I felt very comfortable, even though I was travelling alone, there was a good choice from the menu, and the fish was excellent, the staff were very accomodating.

Had an evening meal here which was nice. Not too expensive nice food and good wine. It could be a goldmine if the restaurant had more character. It is a bit bleak and bland. The staff are good also.

Enjoyed a superb evening meal with two other members of my family (my son and grandson) on our Hadrian's Cycleway C2C cycle ride. We were recommended to eat here by the proprietors of the B&B at The Queen's Hotel and can pass our recommendation on to other travellers to this fabulous part of the United Kingdom. Our meal was freshly... More
