Having booked to play the wonderful Silloth golf course, this hotel is very handily placed along the street. Comfortable rooms, and nice breakfast. There's 2/3 local pubs in town and a welcoming RAFA club. Great location.

This restaurant seems to change chefs very frequently and this has a huge effect on the food. In the past, it has been nice, but not for a while now. The last time we visited it was very poor indeed with what had obviously been frozen food, like the sort you can buy from a shop like Iceland. However, the... More

Whilst on our holidays for 7 nights, we ate here 3 times. The food is amazing, decent wine & beer choice and the staff are so friendly and helpful. Even accommodated my fussy eater child with a mix from the menu. First class! If we're ever back in Silloth, I would definitely return.

The service was polite, helpful and swift, one small grumble would be that the staff let you know when giving out the menu the meals that are not available as this is annoying when you spend time deciding and then are told that the meal is not available. That said the food and the presentation where excellent and a pleasure... More

Called in for liquid fortification only ! The Lounge Bar / Restaurant was a perfectly comfortable place in which to round off a brief visit to this town. Being in the late afternoon - a good many patrons were to be found partaking in the excellent Cream Tea. Oneself though settled for a pint - of the local 'water' -... More

On a recent visit my fiancé and I decided to go for an evening meal here, ordered the lasagne only to find a massive bit of sharp plastic in amongst my meal. Horrified and will never return. The plastic looked like the side of a microwaveable dish that had snapped off during shoving in the microwave!!!

Called in for a coffee as I was passing. I asked for it to be served outside, no problem :) Staff brought a tray laden with a pot of coffee and sugar and milk, all in little silver ware just as Mum would expect. 3 coffees from the pot and so reasonable. Friendly staff, nothing to much trouble.

The choices on menu were good and the food was very well presented and extremely enjoyable . . . . There were also great choices for breakfast and it was all cooked to order. Staff were very friendly.

You have got to look past the dated look of this hotel because who cares what it looks like when the food is so good. We went there tonight, all six of us plus the a dog and it was just fantastic. I can't praise it enough. The gammon comes with an egg and (yes AND) pineapple - fresh as... More
