Went here following a recommendation from a local, the meal was ok but nothing special. Having eaten Indian food for 25yrs I've tried a lot, location is good but food is ok.
Small Indian restaurant located on Fisherman's village on Boput beach. You must try their dal fry and chicken makhani. Roti (indian bread) is very authentic..just like you will find in India
We ate here during our stay on Koh Samui and have to say, was the best Indian we have had!!! The service and food were excellent and the prices are seriously cheap. We spent £50 for 5 of us including drinks AND every one of us cleared our plates (unheard of for me!). In great spot at Fisherman's Village -... More
In Fisherman's Village it's hard to find a reasonably priced place. Kohinoor has a Prix fix meal that's delicious! Starts with onion bhaji, which I never had before, but was very good, the onion Nan was probably the best I have ever had. You get two chicken dishes of your choice. We had chicken tikka masala, yum, and you get... More
Hubby is not an Indian food lover but we were looking for halal meat so ended up here. We went for a dry grilled chicken dish...some vegetable side dishes and a garlic naan. Great taste..,really fresh...reasonable prices. Would 100% recommend.
Fast, friendly service….very good food (as spicy as you like)…fresh and tasty. Nothing exceptional to make it standout, but it was great value for good food. Just nice to have good Indian food for a change of pace.
We had a main course each, shared garlic naan, butter naan and an onion naan also a couple of chappatti. The breads were really good, the curries were also good taste and texture. We shared onion bhaji to start and these were freshly made. This is a decent place doing good food at a cheap price. If you're in Fishermans... More
Honestly, for Indian food in Thailand this place is very good. It's simple and fresh and lots of fragrant spices in the meal. Can't go wrong with it especially if you like Indian food and are in need of a break from thai food.
If you like English Indian food and good value, this is the place for you. Nice staff and a good evening meal for £6 including a beer! Tastes all freshly made and the naan bread was especially nice.
