Great food with a twist

Great tasting food and helpful service. Don't let the unique style in interior design scare you away. You must try the tasty mango green curry pie starter.

This place is an extremely unassuming cafe which one would easily walk past and not even maybe give a second glance …… I had read some great reviews on trip advisor and missed it the last two times I visited Samui so thought would make it a point to visit this time …… though we didn't have a reservation the... The restaurant is very eccletic and colorful and we liked it. The food was good but salty and the curry was a bit too rich. The staff were friendly but very pushy trying to get us to drink more all the time, order more, not even considering that they were suggesting a starter and a mains which were pratically the... This is a place you must go to if you are in Koh Samui! Amazing food with plenty of flavours and nice cocktails. I recommend the duck red curry dumplings. Vivian and his staff are also very welcoming.

We had great appetizers. However the main course (bestseller and recommendation) was a disappointment. Probably not going back.

If you love Thai food and enjoy trying new flavours... Go here. Don't hesitate, just go. The food was fantastic, the staff friendly and efficient and the decor quirky, kitsch and a bit mad. The roadside setting makes it a noisy venue - don't come here if you're looking for a quiet, romantic candledit setting. Come here for the food,... More

Compared to options directly on the beach in Fisherman's Village, this food was better and the prices were good. We sat out on the front deck and it was overly hot and loud (you are essentially on the street) but the service was very good and the food was good as well.

Cafe 69 would have to be one of the best thai food restaurants we had while staying in Samui over 6 days and Phuket for 4 days. Book a table in advance as it gets busy and is only a small place. Of all the food the must try is the red curry duck dumplings. The owner Vivian greeted all... More

The food here is delicious & a welcome alternative to Thai or western food as its a fusion of the two. The staff are very friendly & will do everything they can to make you comfortable. The only negative is it's very easy not miss the small exterior fro the busy road. Definitely a place everyone should try.
