After some searching, we found Cafe 69 on the main road (we'd read good reviews from fellow travellers on TripAdvisor, so were determined to find it). We knew Cafe 69 got busy at night, so popped along for lunch and had the place to ourselves. The food is really different, offering modern twists on Thai classics. I had the green... More

My Family and I were looking quite long for this restaurant and did not find it. However the restaurant has been shut down, as we have been told the owner moved to a other country. It was a big dissapointment, not having any indication that the place has been closed.

Visited this restaurant and was not disappointing at all. There is a lot of interesting choices on the menu, and almost everything is original. Location may be is not so good, but to be honest it doesn't really matter. Some meals seem to be a bit pricy comparing to other places, but you get what you pay for. The curry... More

What a great place! The food is so creative and tasty that it is worth coming all the way over here... Cozy a bit odd place with really friendly staff, and unique inventive Thai food. I loved it!

We stopped by cafe 69 for lunch on our way out and were very surprised by the food being served. For lunch we ordered the soft shell crab and papaya salad rolls, the presentation and quality was outstanding, work of art to look at! We also had the green curry chicken roti pie with mango, wow! Very subtle flavours but... More

Wow factor food at great value. Really friendly staff. Book or come early as this place is good and as a result it's reputation ensures it's always full. Really good range of specials and lots of inventive Thai dishes with a modern twist. Anyone who visits Samui must eat here once.

This place was recommended by friends. our first impression was....omg, what a lot of bling! it formed a bit of a contrast with the staff, an older lady who wasn't too outgoing. The food however was original and very tasty! Fun place to go to if you like good Thai food, location isn't too brilliant.

We are here on the first night of our trip, based on the positive TA reviews. We were not disappointed!! Upon entering we were met by Chef Vivian, his enthusiasm and passion were evident and we could not fail to be impressed by his creative menu. The food was out of this world delicious, you must try the thai green... More

The best Thai food we had during our stay! We ate topical Thai food but with that magical touch from Vivien (the owner and cook of the place) that made all the difference!
