The owner is so friendly and welcoming! The Thai green curry roti is incredible and filled with so much flavour. Everything from the venue, ambiance, the music and the friendly and fast service made it the best restaurant experience in our 2 weeks in koh Samui. A definite must!

Ate there last night... Biggest dissapointment after 3 weeks in Thailand, and by quite a margin. Ordered dumplings, presentation was OK, but deep fried and curry inside was just OK. Then we had their pad Thai and tom yum... Both came with battered fried chicken and prawn, respectively, even though I ordered the chicken. In any case, even leaving that... More

We went here because it was rated so highly. While the menu ideas were creative in theory, the execution was very disappointing. The sought after duck dumplings were little amounts of duck curry encased in a thick deep fried batter. Deep fried betal leaves with a prawn - really - how do these beautiful fresh ingredients benefit from deep frying... More

2nd time in our 5 days visit to Samui. The Food was very good. Some unique twists of the chef made all dishes a fascinating culinary surprise. The place is decorated in a unique way. Not the standard Thai place. It made us laugh and enjoy the great food even more. We usually do not write reviews. We are traveling... More

My boyfriend and I went here twice during our week stay on Samui and I can honestly it was the best food we had during our entire month long trip in Thailand! We're both vegetarians and so eating out can be a bit tricky. When Vivian found out we didn't eat meat or sea food he was amazingly accommodating, telling... More

We visited based on TA reviews. What a little gem I a place. We would never have found this place had we not used TA. The owner Vivienne welcomed us to the restaurant introducing himself of the owner and the chef, and seated us and talked us through the menu and provided some wonderful suggestions for us to try. We... More

Following reviews on TA, Cafe 69 was on my list of places to eat. We had quite a few very hot and dusty walks before we found it. It was lunchtime and it was shut - opening at 4pm on that day. We returned a few days later at lunchtime and it was shut again. We didn't bother after that... More
