Excellent choice in Koh Samui

We had dinner yeaterday with my wife for the second time. The welcome of Vivian the owner is very friendly and the service is good. The menu is not huge but with a good choice of delicious plates. The price is very reasonnable. It is a restaurant that we would fecommend to friends.

Cafe 69 is an absolute gem of a restaurant. The food is amazing. If you're looking for a taste of Thailand with a twist, this is the place for you. The soft shell crab starter and green curry chicken pie come highly recommended. The staff are great too, on hand to explain everything and provide recommendations. The name and the... More

We stopped into this trendy, boutique style restaurant for dinner and definitely didn't regret it. The owner came out to explain some of his unique creations on the menu and he didn't steer us in the wrong direction. The food was amazing and a nice change from all the traditional Thai food we had been eating. It's a close walk... More

Loved this place, quirky outside and in with fabulous & unusual dishes. Mains are big portions so would suggest sharing. Great menu with some house specials like Thai Green Curry Pie which is yummy! Highly recommend

The last twice I had been to Samui, I didn't manage to get a table here so as we were staying very locally, made sure we got a place on our last Saturday night. Expected so much of the place and thought it would be comparable with Barracuda. Not even close unfortunately. Now admittedly, my partner doesn't eat meat or... More

Even in a country full of warm and wonderful people, I have to say that owner/chef Vivien stands out. We never felt as welcomed and at home as we did at Cafe 69 (and that is saying something, especially in Thailand). As other people have mentioned, the décor is non-traditional for... anywhere, really, but it somehow seems perfectly fitting. And... More

If you are tired of generic pad thai, try this place. The food is outstandingly different. All still based around south east asian food but with a great twist. The starter of chicken green curry pie and salmon skewers red curry, has been a highlight of our holiday. Vivien the owner and chef was most welcoming taking time to explain... More

This spot is lots of fun. The decor is funky and place doesn't take itself too seriously but food is yum yum. Even better chef comes out to speak to you to find out what you like and tailor to your tastes ... Even if not on menu! great value too!!!

We had dinner at Cafe 69 on referral from our butler at Vana Belle and were not disappointed. The place does not look like much, it is directly on the Ring Road, small (reservation mandatory) and deco is oddly kitsch. The owner has worked as a chef in Starwood properties and serves inspired Thai fusion cuisine. My wife raved about... More
