Amazing view and nice food

Great place for a family dinner. Everything that we ordered from appetizers (springs rolls), Thai food (Tom Yom soup, prawns with green curry and red snapper with tamarind sauce) to steaks at hot stone were very good. Recommended!

We had a late (extremely light) lunch at Krua. Wonderful ambience, excellent service. It was drizzling so we didn't sit on the beachfront but I loved the place. Cannnot comment much about the food as we had snacks & drinks. Not inexpensive but worth the experience. We were the only people there as it was 4pm but spent a good... More

Krua was ok, but no more than that. Our meal wasn't helped by the fact that there were three kids running round, screeching for the entire time we were there. I realise this is not the restaurants fault, however it didn't improve the experience.

Stayed in Fisherman's Village for 6 nights and were spoilt for choice when it came to dinner. First night we ate here at Krua Bophut and it was wonderful. We had the choice to either sit in the restaurant, on the patio/balcony, or on the beach. We chose the beach, when on holiday, right? It made for some lovely photos!... More

I'm not sure what the low rating is all about . We didnt find it to be expensive for a beachfront restaurant , the service was excellent and the BBQ Tiger prawns were the best i've had yet on Samui !!

My family and I went to have lunch in February 2015. Its a thai restaurant located in the pitturesque Fisherman Village on Bophut beach. We enjoyed the peace and the serenity of the beach in a thai-style building made of the traditional teak. They have two-set menus, one spicy and one slightly milder There is a wide selection of dishes... More

We checked with the waitress the price of the seafood basket, which we then ordered. However, the waitress did not tell us, that the price did not include a service charge or VAT which added significantly to our already expensive meal. The location is lovely right on the beach, but the meal was let done by not being told the... More

great location with tables by the beach. go early to enjoy the sunset and you likely will get a better table. food is good but expensive for Koh Samui prices. Still well flavored, delicious and part of the charm of the island

Excellent food and very positive and friendly atmosphere - try the fish dishes. Just picked out of the sea and very competent prepared with thai style spices ... even though we stay on the south side of Samui, we will jump on a public taxi go north and again eat and enjoy the fine food right on the sea ...

The problem in Koh Samui is finding a Thai restaurant that has both a relaxed and pleasant ambience and serves anything approaching genuine Thai food. Krua Bophut is well located on the beach in Fisherman's Village, the decor is attractive, and the service is well-intentioned even if not always impeccable. Which is why I have taken house guests there several... More
