Visiting from Canada, we found that we felt very welcomed and relaxed at La Trocha. Our server was very warm and friendly. The food was DELICIOUS..and there was LOTS of it! We will definitely be back again!

This is a husband and wife team. Resturant located off main road in Atenas between Don Yao and gasoline station. You have to be on the look out for their sign or you will miss it. Always consistent good fresh food. Known for their fish dishes.

The surrounding of this restaurant is really nice - in the middle of all the plants. The owner was friendly and welcoming and also the food was very good. However we found the price was not reasonable for this area.

I've been there three times over the last few months. I have gotten the filet mignon in the trocha sauce. It is a thick cut of meat and I also got the sea bass in the trocha sauce. My boyfriend loves the filet mignon in the jalapeno sauce. It was excellent. Everyone I've gone with has loved it.
