The wife and I popped in today for a bite to eat and shared a sandwich and chips. Chips were nice and chunky, the sandwich was excellent value and there was a good selection of real ales. Shame i was driving as there was also a really nice foreign real lager. And, yes, real mayonnaise!

On the last day of our holiday, we were looking for somewhere to eat. A road sign to a C16th pub led us to the Falcon Inn in St Mawgan. On walking in to the pub, the atmosphere was just right. Full of animated chat in every corner and just the right level of busy. The clientele was a good... More

After a long long walk (we got lost) from Mawgan Porth we found our way into St Mawgan. It rained we were drenched and our lil doggy was cold. We were pleased to see a light at the end of the tunnel in the Falcon Inn, our little doggy was welcome and he snuggled under the table whilst we settled... More

We had a really nice meal, there was plenty of choice and the staff were excellent with children. Unfortunately we had to wait a while for our food but we had been warned about this as there was a very large crowd of ramblers who were already in there when we arrived. This is the fifth time we have been... More

The Falcon Inn epitomises what a Village Pub/Restaurant should be. Hospitality is always warm and welcoming and the variety of customers proves that this is a hostelry that is all things to all people, just what a pub should represent. The food menu is changed regularly and offers a wonderfully varied selection to suit all tastes. The quality of food... More

We have visited the Falcon on several occasions and never been disappointed. The atmosphere in the bar is fantastic, a real pub, so sadly missing these days in many places, it is well worth a visit just for this. Being a free house the selection of beers is really good and easy to get carried away !!!! (In more ways... More

Had a lovely meal at the Falcon Inn. We had Steak & Stilton Pie and it was the best we had in year's. Every one around us were making good comment's about their food, really good food allround. Lovely old place but they have modenised inside which I thought was a shame. If you have an old country pub keep... More

A good and diverse menu, good value and big portions. It is attached to a good pub and B&B. Great in the summer in a picturesque area
