Living in the area we tend to try our locals from time to time. We stopped here few weeks back but was very busy obviously a popular place and for good reason as we found out a few days ago. We stopped again before we went for a stroll of the woods at the back of the pub. Very friendly... More

I visited the Falcon for a meal with my partner whilst holidaying in Cornwall a few days ago. Although we had a short wait for a table to become available, the food and service were second to none. All staff worked as a very efficient team with the landlady doubling up as a barmaid, a waitress and then even had... More

Visited The Falcon for dinner and was very impressed with the quality of the food and size of the portions - the crab cake starter could have passed easily as a main course and the crab brûlée was a triumph. The only let down was the dark chocolate mousse, which was more of a cheap milk chocolate gateaux. The Falcon... More

Visited here in passing a few weeks ago but have stayed and eaten here several time over the years. Its a gem, The hotel side is comfortable, very clean and room size is good. The bathroom was immaculate. It's dog friendly so took our chocolate lab and she was welcomed by all the staff and the owners. The team were... More

This made my boyfriend and I very satisfied when we arrived inside. We were a little anxious as we didn't want pub grub, however it was in good walking distance to where we were staying and the menu looked nice online. We had the choice of eating in the bar area or in the dining room. The dining room was... More

Food here is excellent, had 4 different meals, all very good, my steak and Stilton pie was packed with large well cooked pieces of steak and vry tasty, topped off with light melt in the mouth pastry, not your usual throw on top puff pastry lid. Others had the bubble and squeak (smoked haddock) again very well presented and tasted... More

We called into this pub as it was recommend by the campsite that we were staying at, the food, service and setting were all fantastic, it was by far the best meal of our holiday. Would definitely recommend it.

On holiday in Cornwall we had heard about this pub and seen the Trip reviews. Glad we went, teeming with both locals (and their dogs) and holidaymakers but lots of room and garden space. Even though it was very busy we found a table and ordered. the crab salad was tremendous (as it should be) and the rest of the... More
