The deli is very clean, nice atmosphere & very lovely staff. We only had a sandwich & the pate. Both of which were very nice and pleasant, good value for money. If you enjoy eating out at warm, lovely places, with quality ingredients then it's worth visiting. Will definitely return for coffee, cakes, brunch & lunch in the future. We... More

I had lunch here about a fortnight ago with a friend and we both opted to go with sandwiches. It does say something about the bread, along the lines of doorstop slices or similar but even so, there is just way, way too much of it. I had the crab sandwich which was nice but unfortunately had only white meat... More

We visited twice recently and thoroughly enjoyed the lunch menu sitting out in the lovely sunshine and enjoying the pleasant atmosphere. The food was exquisite and the service was very good and friendly. We will be back!

It's a great location and food looks and sounds good. We only ordered coffee and fruit bread toast, but no fruit in toast, though there were nuts(shouldn't these get a mention on the menu?). My Americano only three quarters full and smaller cup than the cappuccino. No greeting from staff when at the counter and no smile anywhere. Seems a... More

Can't fault it, been there twice now mid afternoon, both times when the weather has been gorgeous. Al fresco dining at it's best. Would recommend the platter for two (even though it would do four) mmmmmmm.............will be back again! Thank you, it's a pleasure

My husband and I visited here for coffee over the weekend. We both found our drinks to be nice and the staff seemed friendly enough. However, finding a seat was challenging. There are plenty of seats outside, but if the weather is looking a bit wet, it can be awkward to find a seat inside due to how busy it... More

There is nothing better than a pot of real tea (with leaves) and a breakfast at the Deli. All superb quality farm food. None of that supermarket rubbish. They will pretty much make what you want and nothing is ever a problem. Great selection of fantastic food. The best daytime food in Southwell.

Very average food, dreadful coffee, at over inflated prices. Oh and to mirror the comments of many others, really miserable staff!! After being a regular, don't bother now, as the small french deli on the high street serves far better coffee, and with a smile or pleasantry, take heed!!

We had lunch here one Sunday afternoon, the service was good and the food was beautiful. It was all homemade even the bread! If it was a tad cheaper we would come more often but I wouldn't want that to affect the quality!

As an avid pie fan, especially The Old Theatre Deli pies, I have to commend them on a new one - the ham, pea and mustard. An absolute winner! 5 stars!
