It was a spur of the moment decision to dine here the night we did...and are we glad we did!!! The menu is basically any fresh fish or seafood that they have available plus a few other things. We asked if we could have a selection of seafood starters including prawns, clams, octapus and perceves ...which turned into a meal... More

Probably the best restaurant of Vila do Bispo, go for the seafood and ask the waiters if in doubt, good service.

Stopped by chance en route to Sagres after late plane, no car hire as booked and relatively long drive passing no restaurants we fancied. What a pleasure! Food was plentiful, excellent quality and cheap. English spoken (not what one always expects and it's our fault for our pitiful Portuguese). If you like fish you are in the right place, excellent... Last year we found this restaurant ocasionally on our way to Cabo Sao Vicente. We tried lunch and were delighted. Extremely fresh fish and seafood, a reasonable price to be paid by weight of the fish so that you don't pay a gram too much! The grilled seabrass we had the first time was really sensational. In other visits we... More

Based on other reviews we were expecting a wonderful evening. The service was good, the seating a little too close for our comfort, and the food just OK. I had the fried tuna and received a large serving, my wife a very small fish, a good avocado and shrimp starter and mediocre dessert.

My wife and i shared a large plate of mussels cooked to a local recipe followed by a large fish that we shared with salad and potatoes. Complimented by a bottle of local wine we had a good meal. This restaurant is very popular with the locals as people were waiting for a table the whole time we were there.... More

In the end of the world town of bispo it seems not much happens. This place, just down from the main square, must be one of the best places to eat between faro and Henry's point. Turn up with a large party of friends and order a fish banquet with barnacles!! Excellent.

great selection of seafood.. much better than anything in Sagres area and certainly worth a detour. We went as a big group with 6 children for lunch, children's pizza wasn't great but what does one expect! the rest of the meal was very good; sea bass, turbot, seafood rice etc. All top notch Portugese cooking. Full of locals for lunch... More
