Two distinct parts to Lo Bistro - Don't judge the downstairs restaurant by the upstairs bar/ cafe. Upstairs - Looks unatmospheric and is harshly lit, but serves well for early pre-slope coffees (free wifi) and is mobbed apres ski, unfortunately not in an Austrian party apres ski way (in fact Champoluc is depressingly devoid of any good party music style... Upstairs is a great bar, good beer, wine etc. friendly atmosphere, and fantastic "bar snacks" ie pizza, rizotto, pasta, cheese sauce, tapenade, crisps, popcorn, sausages, and all manner of other tasty stuff. Great place to discuss the day on the slopes, have a couple of beers, and take the edge off your hunger. Restaurant downstairs popular (make sure to book... More

Over numerous trips to Champoluc, this is always our favourite place, both to eat in the village, and for an apres ski Spritz. The range of snacks layed out at this time of day tells you everything you need to know about their hospitality!! The staff must be amongst the friendliest you will ever meet, after an injury this trip,... More

This cafe-restaurant in the heart of Champoluc has an attentive and fast service, the food is plentiful and very good. The environment is nice but during rush hour it seems almost a public canteen .. a bit of confusion. Overall is nice place to eat great food during a ski break.

We have used this establishment, both as holidaymakers and saisonaires working in resort. The staff this winter, particularly, Fabricio and Yasim made us extremely welcome and I send my thanks. Lunch times provided a selection of crisps, popcorn and cheesy puff balls as aperitvi and in the late afternoons, there appeared a host of free snacks to accompany an after... More

Had am apres ski drink here - it's the main spot in town for a gathering, though to be honest it's a pretty dull room, rather more cafe-like than a classic ski bar. Had a lunch on our last day before heading off and it was excellent - terrific (and massive choice of) pizza, classic zuppe Valdostana, very good carbonada... More

Just lovely. The food is good and plentiful, the service is friendly and nicely playful and it is good value for money. Just a shame it is not up on the slopes but a great place to eat when in the village. It is definitely a place to eat more than once, as we did.

We have tested most of the restaurants in Champoluc and always returned to Lo Bistro. Fantastic Food, the best pizzas, great choices of wine and excellent service from the very friendly staff. This place is a "must" if you ever visit Champoluc

Living in Switzerland means it is always a treat to visit Italy and have such fabulous food and that it is so affordable is even better. We ate here three times over the course of a long weekend and every meal we had was delicious. It was really good value. The service was super friendly.
