Great location overlooking the port of Kamares with view of the mountains.Excellent choice of food mostly Asia Minor cooking but with a twist. Good wine list but you MUST try the Absinthe. good show watching the ice water dripping through an sugar cube into the Absinthe and well worth the wait.Service with a smile like EVERYWHERE in Sifnos!!!!

Super cozy res above the Kamares Bay. Very good vegetarian and vegan options like black eyed bean salad, giant beans in a spicy tomato sauce, garden's yield salad, zucchini with anis patties and mint yoghurt, feta in filo with honey and sesame seeds etc... Good selection of Greek wines very reasonably priced. In general the food and drinks are priced... More

Overlooking Kamares and excellent food and wine, could life be better! The only problem with Absinthe is that it has so many good dishes to choose from so it is hard to pick just a couple when you like to have them all! But the good thing is that you can always go back again and again and taste them... More

This unique little restaurant has surpassed anything that I have yet to experience on this island.Their cuisine,a blend of the Orient,Anatolian and Greek is well thought of and executed with fresh produce and use of local herbs.Excellent service with good and affordable wines.Beautiful view of the bay and the sunset from their terrace.

Absithe is the type of place in which you could spend an evening of fine dining and try the traditional Greek flavours with a twist. Their salad dressings are to die for, and all there others meals are well in order.

This is a very nice, casual restaurant not far from the port. The servers were charming, and the food was good. Everything was fresh. I enjoyed the fava dip; others said the grouper was good the night we visited. Prices were reasonable. Nice setting on the stairway.

An extraordinarily tasteful restaurant, in all its part from first of all the food, but also the interior, the service and the wiew. Greek with a very tasty - and needed - spicy twist.

Here is where I tried my first Sifnos specialty of goat, it was tender and spicy in a light broth. My salad was of the finest arugula, shaved parmesan cheese, sliced green apples, pine nuts, sunflower seeds and a light dressing. Cost was about 23 Euros with house wine

This was probably the best meal we had on the island and on our last night here.Their presentation of the plates was well thought of and their dishes totally out of the ordinary.I had the spicy goat(absolutely stunning to the taste buds)and my wife had the seared tuna claiming it was the best she had so far.The only put off... I thought this would be a special place - on number 1 in kamares! - but that isn't it for me... the meat i had was very dry with no special taste. There are places nearby that are much better!! And cheaper! So for me this was no price-quality.
