Make sure you get the right one if you're trying to follow in 'Ricky's' footsteps. There are 2 restaurants with very similar names very close to each other. If you want to follow Rick Stein's adventure, you want the one closest to The Shore Temple. We arrived in the dark for an evening meal and got the wrong one. We... More

My friends and I went to this beach side outdoor restaurant overlooking gorgeous sandy beaches and sea. Having seen Rick Stein's BBC series on Indian Cuisine throughout India and Rick selecting this simple beach side restaurant as his single NUMBER ONE signature cuisine for the series had us intrigued. Seduced by the idea of eating fish from the days catch cooked just for us while we waited. When it came it was cool "blackened" and accompanied by a few chips. It was edible but poor value.
