I liked the meal but the place itself needs a restauration, you know I was thinking a Restaurant Impossible kind of thing. But hey, I liked the food.

Picked up La Granja for lunch one day. Chicken and ribs with rice and potatoes. Lots of good food for around $20.
We have been exploring Aruba and going through not so nice part the south from the airport when decided that we want to eat something, not fancy, but rather a good value. The rule of thumb - look for a place that looks clean and has locals flocking at. La Granja has met both criterias and we stopped by. It...

Get the roasted chicken! Potatoes are great too.. not the nicest looking place, doesn't matter - food is great! I would recommend to anyone. Price is good, 10 bucks a person just about, large portions.. don't expect a 5 star restaurant. Can be compared to a fast food / hole in the wall back in US.. but the food is...

La Granja is a restaurant that serves Aruban food to local customers. Nothing fancy - it's self serve - sort of. You go to the counter, order and pay, and pick up your food or it may be brought to your table. The staff may speak some English depending on who is working, but you can point on the English...

We stumbled on this place while touring for a nice snorkel beach in the area, and it was exactly what we were hoping for; good local fast food. Compared to eating at a Subway or Wendy's (found all over the island) this is a much better alternative. The rotisserie chicken is delicious and the sides are generally good. The fries...

We stopped by this place for an early dinner after hitting some of the San Nicolas and Savaneta rum shops. It's on the main road to Savaneta and even has a drive through now. We got HUGE portions of fish with lots of rice and heavy on the garlic. The 3 of us ate there for just over $20. The...

Look, I won't kid you - you don't come here for the ambiance, or a romantic dinner. You come here for great tasting (Peruvian) food, served in a sort of cafeteria style with mostly locals. You walk into a room divided into three sections, that is clean, with some large fish like marlin and sharks hanging from the ceiling. You...

This place has great rotisserie chicken but absolutely no ambiance. In a word it is a great place to pick up a meal and eat it elsewhere. The menu includes rigs and fish, but I've only had the chicken. Prices are very good.
If you like rotisserie chicken, this is a good local inexpensive restaurant to try. I do not recommend their French fries but I do recommend their potatoes. The menu is in English and the staff is very friendly but it helps if you speak a little Spanish, depending on who is working. Just order the pollo (chicken) with arroz (rice)...
