We have been coming to Aruba for the last 23 years and we try new restaurants each time on the island, but we ALWAYS make sure to go to Marina Pirata every time. By far our favorite for food, ambiance and service. Fresh seafood prepared deliciously - super yummy drinks - friendly service - sitting out on the water with... More

It was recomended to us even from other restaurants and reconfirmed by our hotel Coral Reef resort,so we tried it and we liked it. Waitress Sheila was a wonderful host recomending the right things once we told our preferences. Our table was right at the edge of the nice pier where we could watch ( and feeda bit ) the quite... While in Aruba we met an American woman who has lived in Aruba for years. She invited us to have dinner with her and to and picked us up at our hotel ( The Holiday Inn). A little bit of a ride but well worth it. We would never have found this place on our own. After parking you walk... More

Lovely setting down on the water. Great food. I had the seafood platter - incredibly generous serving, all cooked to perfection. Reserve so you can get right on the edge for an unobstructed sunset view. Water is lit at dinner, so you can watch all the fish coming in, hoping you will share some of your food with them. Insect... for tourist to enjoy the place the need to know what they are getting and for how much; their sign make no sense in how to order the food. The woman taking the order DIDN'T have one bit of a desire to explain it or to smile. So, when she started speaking Spanish to the young man helping I let... More

A little hard to find, but worth the drive. A place where the natives eat. We had a great table right on the dock. Oil lantern for light, good service, outstanding fish, two folks had steak, that was cooked just right. Well worth the drive, would go again. If you have small children, I would not eat on the dock... More

Make a reservation for dinner around 6:30 pm to see the spectacular sunset, languish over some drinks and fantastic food overlooking the water and then watch the fish come out and swim when the lights are turned on after dark. The seafood is extremely fresh and tasty. Make sure to visit this hidden gem

This is a nice, secluded restaurant that is somewhat hidden. Ask for directions if you plan to drive. The setting is perfect. Go for dinner and indulge in the amazing sunset. The drinks were ok. The food is good, I would not say spectacular. But, the view beats it. It is worth a try. If not, for even a drink

Guess we should have called ahead. Tuesday seems a strange day to be closed. Had to drive past big factory to get there, but there are signs when you get past airport on 1A (or 1B, whichever one was going south.)

In our previous visit in Aruba, we came several times to Marina Pirata, it was in fact our favorite restaurant on the island. This time, we returned with very high expectations , but we left a bit disappointed. The location is still great, dining on the dock at sunset with plenty of fishes around you is beautiful . The main... More
