We love this place. It is a little out of the way however it was worth the long cab ride from the Marriott. The set us up right by the water and doubled up the chairs for the kids. Very child friendly. It was great watching fish as you eat. I loved the bathroom and the grotto. I preferred this... More

As we drive up they were literally unloading the fresh catch from a boat on a trailer out front of the building that had just come back from the docks. Doesn't get fresher than that! Most of the tables literally sit out on a pier/deck over the water with no railings so watch your step! The sun goes down (nice... More

This waterfront restaurant is visually appealing in the evening--casual but attractive. Among our group, some dinners were quite good, others not good at all. Hard to know exactly how to order in a new place but what you order does seem to make a great difference. Would definitely suggest avoiding fried seafood and opt for something grilled without a lot... More

Everyone raves about the sunset! But that is not what makes a good restaurant. We arrived long after dark because our friend, who was driving, could not find the restaurant. By the time we found it, I was experiencing motion sickness, which wasn't helped by the shaky boards over the water or the plastic chairs which wobbled. The service was... More

This is a little hidden gem. The food was prepared well, simple flavors aruban style. Moderate pricing. It's lovely to sit on the water watching the sun set and at dark seeing the fish swim around the dock. Service is slow but we did not mind. Take time to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. Very friendly staff.

We met friends at Marina Pirata that came down from the low-rise area and we came up from Savaneta, since we were trying to stick with the more "local" dining experiences. Marina Pirata did not disappoint... The usual Aruban sunset waterfront dining was superb, and the staff friendly and attentive. Food was very tasty and plentiful.. A pretty good value.... More

Awesome view!! Service was slow but the barracuda fish was awesome. Side were pretty lame. The calamari was chewy and the fish soup tasted bad. Fish was the highlight here.

About 25 minutes from where we were staying but worth the trip. Arrived at 6, had a table on the water's edge and enjoyed a beautiful sunset! The waitress was very accommodating. She offered to take a few pictures of us which came out really nice. We all had the whole fried red snapper which was very tasty but we... More

The food is simple and very good. Lots to choose from. The setting is very nice. For some reason they only had 3 servers working. They were running around trying to service everyone but it made it very chaotic. Would return no matter what
