for tourist to enjoy the place the need to know what they are getting and for how much; their sign make no sense in how to order the food. The woman taking the order DIDN'T have one bit of a desire to explain it or to smile. So, when she started speaking Spanish to the young man helping I let... More

A little hard to find, but worth the drive. A place where the natives eat. We had a great table right on the dock. Oil lantern for light, good service, outstanding fish, two folks had steak, that was cooked just right. Well worth the drive, would go again. If you have small children, I would not eat on the dock... More

Make a reservation for dinner around 6:30 pm to see the spectacular sunset, languish over some drinks and fantastic food overlooking the water and then watch the fish come out and swim when the lights are turned on after dark. The seafood is extremely fresh and tasty. Make sure to visit this hidden gem

This is a nice, secluded restaurant that is somewhat hidden. Ask for directions if you plan to drive. The setting is perfect. Go for dinner and indulge in the amazing sunset. The drinks were ok. The food is good, I would not say spectacular. But, the view beats it. It is worth a try. If not, for even a drink

Guess we should have called ahead. Tuesday seems a strange day to be closed. Had to drive past big factory to get there, but there are signs when you get past airport on 1A (or 1B, whichever one was going south.)

In our previous visit in Aruba, we came several times to Marina Pirata, it was in fact our favorite restaurant on the island. This time, we returned with very high expectations , but we left a bit disappointed. The location is still great, dining on the dock at sunset with plenty of fishes around you is beautiful . The main... More

We had dinner at sunset at the end of the pier, watching the fish flash silver in the moon light and tossing bits off the edge to feed them. The food was pretty good, but it was the outside dining that made this a hit.

Excellent floating dock over the water with lots of fish activity in the water. Good food, excellent service.

In our two previous visits to Aruba we have loved this restaurant and were excited to share it with family and friends for dinner the day after our wedding (which was also everyone’s last night on the island). We had made a reservation for 7 people about a month in advance over the phone (an expensive international call). We drove... More

We've been at this restaurant twice already, and it have to say that I never stop impressing me. The goods: The views of the sunset are just SPECTACULAR!! The atmosphere and ambience are super inviting, and not to mention that the place is also very different; you are literally sitting in a dock on top of the water. The service... More
