Fresh Fish

This restaurant was recommended to us by a local we met of the plane. Out of the way, not easy to find but if you do, the fish is incredible. The deep fried red snapper was so fresh and tasty I'm sure it just came out of the ocean.

It is off the beaten path. This restaurant feels like you are going to a sketchy part of town but it is worth the trip. It is close to the water desalination plant. The food was fantastic (small portions) but tasted great. It is set on a dock with lights all around it and you can see the fish swimming... More

I got to the restaurant around 8 p.m. - didn't have a reservation but the restaurant wasn't crowded and I was seated at a table near the water's edge. The fish swimming in the lights were fun to watch! My food was delivered promptly. I ordered the mahi mahi in creole sauce and it came with steamed mixed vegetables, a... More

Great service, Great food, Great view. It's right over the water in a nice secluded location not visible from the street. At night schools of fish swarm the end of the pier, to me it was entertaining throwing little crumbs of bread and watching the feeding frenzy I didn't even notice how long it took them to bring out the... Honestly, the food is good but not amazing. Remarkably, the atmosphere is one of the best in Aruba for a dinner with your beloved partner. A lovely small piece of Arabian tradition, few steps down for the parking take you seated at a waterside table, enjoying sea and stars. Reasonably priced if we consider how unique it is.

My husband and I were here 15 years ago on our honeymoon. We decided then that we loved this place and on this trip would be where we had our anniversary dinner. It's such a beautiful place to be when the sunsets! Amazing view! The food and service was also excellent!

The Marina Pirata has a great atmosphere. We went there for dinner and we got a beautiful table by the water. It was great seeing the fishes come by us. Drinks and food were good but not exactly what I was expecting. Excellent service and very kind people. We enjoyed our time there.

Not among the best that Aruba has to offer. There are many other better choices on the island. Easy to find and a bit off of the beaten path.

We were here 2 1/2 years ago with friends and enjoyed Marina Pirata very much with friends. This time we were by ourselves and still enjoyed it. As someone else mentioned, it is very dark after dusk. We enjoy the open deck over the water and are entertained by the fish loitering around for food. There are no railings around... More

We were staying near Marina Pirata and the owner recommended this restaurant. Our waiter was a soft spoken gentleman that gave excellent service. It's a bit pricey but worth the price for a special dinner. We went there on our last night in Aruba and felt we had saved the best until last!
