Hard to explain our experience here. The setting is magical, but for most of the meal we were the only patrons in the place. The front parking lot was completely empty and we wondered if they might be closed but they weren't. When two other parties arrived, they chain-smoked their way through their meals while the wind carried the smoke... More

Unfortunately the Flying Fish Bone was closed the day we wanted to eat there, so we chose the Old Man & The Sea instead and what a mistake. The service was "no where around", the food what warm/cold, my surf and turf must have just been slaughtered, but I wouldn't have been able to send it back because it would... More

One of the most romantic dinners we've had in aruba! We very lucky to have been accommodated in there private island where we were secluded from everyone very very romantic! Food was execellent as well as service. Cannot go to aruba without trying this one!

I loved this place. The reviews were mixed, so I was skeptical...but am I glad I made the reservation! First, it did take a while for someone to get back to me about making the reservation, so that was a bit of a hassle. But once it was finalized, and once we arrived and saw the stunning atmosphere...I was sold.... More

I visited The Old Man and The Sea last week and we had the fresh lobster, grilled with lemon butter and my friend had the fresh catch with papaya. The place is beautiful. It is a small restaurant on the beach, cozy and certainly not packed. I got more quality out of my visit. I would certainly recommend it if... More

We dined at this restaurant the week beginning May 4th 2014. Food was good but that was the only good thing about this restaurant. Food was really OVERPRICED and the service was lacking. We should have known when we saw 4 cars in the parking lot versus 20+ at the Flying Fishbone which is a 1 minute walk away at... More

The food itself wasn't horrible but for the price it's not worth it. The restaurant is beautiful so the potential is there for a fine dinning however the service and food didn't meet the cost. The waitress did say they are redoing the restaurant so they aren't working the way they normally do. Hopefully they will fix these problems before... More

I cannot state enough how expensive they are! We ordered 2 salmon dishes and end up paying 100 dollar! We did eat at flying fishbone which is next door! Equally expensive but good service and good food! Really good view!

We made reservations in January for 6 people to use the hut on the beach to celebrate a special birthday. We reconfirmed it 10 days prior to our trip. We rented a limo for the ride and when we got down there , they were closed. The limo driver called the restaurant but they said they dont open on Sundays.... More
