The reason for visiting the Old Man and the Sea should be for the very best setting. Let me be clear that this will set you mood for the dinner which was good and pricey, but the setting made it all worth it. When you make your reservation ensure that you ask for the best time for the sunset which... More

This was it. Numero Uno, The Premier Show. Be warned: Expect a hefty bill, it is not a cheap restaurant. With the warning fairly in mind this place will just blow you, and the competition, away. This is a place where you want either the sand or, if you can manage, a table on one of the piers jutting into... More

Incredibly perfect for our 30th anniversary dinner!!! Everything was beyond beautiful.. Food was well prepared and incredibly tasty. The captain combys pasta with seafood was incredible .. Made with sambuca, dill and Madame Jeanette's special sauce! Soo good!! Sole' , our waitress was an absolute sweetheart! They picked us up at our hotel and brought us to the restaurant free... More

Retrospective review from over 12 months ago. We had a fantastic time at the old man by the sea despite the distinct lack of fellow patrons. The setting alone deserves more visitors and is a must for romantics. The menu was varied and our seafood was fantastic, just as good as the nearby fishbone. Wine list could have been more... More

Was among a group who selected this establishment based on having dined next door at the Flying Fishbone last year. First off, finding the place would be a challenge unless you've been here before. There is a tiny sign for OM&tS, and you can't see it until you're in the FF parking lot. Basically, go to FF and you'll find... More

At least try to stop in for a cocktail on the ocean. This place is lovely! It is on the beach and lit with candlelight ambiance. Friendly staff as well.

Hard to explain our experience here. The setting is magical, but for most of the meal we were the only patrons in the place. The front parking lot was completely empty and we wondered if they might be closed but they weren't. When two other parties arrived, they chain-smoked their way through their meals while the wind carried the smoke... More

Unfortunately the Flying Fish Bone was closed the day we wanted to eat there, so we chose the Old Man & The Sea instead and what a mistake. The service was "no where around", the food what warm/cold, my surf and turf must have just been slaughtered, but I wouldn't have been able to send it back because it would... More
