Following a good walk along the canal tow path this was a great place to pick up a late Sunday lunch. Excellent eg of lamb and well prepped veg, great roasties and good, thick gravy. The vegetarian lasagne came with veg AND well cooked chips.. almost too much food and we baulked at a pud. Very welcoming bar staff and... More

This would not normally be our first choice of venue, but as our party was booked by a guest that spoke highly of it, we attended. From reception on arrival to leaving, it was faultless. The staff were inviting and welcoming. 2 people of our party of 4 were residents. They had stayed before and were not disappointed! The food... More

I've recently started courting, after a prolonged break, and decided on trying out The Bell as it is in a picturesque village and I have had good experiences at other pubs in the same chain. We were warmly welcomed in to the bar area by a friendly gent and I felt the atmosphere was just right for a nice relaxed... More

Having my father for Christmas and his 80th Birthday being on boxing day I decided to look for a Restaurant half way between Gloucester and Cardiff, we came up with the village of Frampton on Seven supposedly with the largest village green in the Country. After looking at at several listing close to the village in the area we choose... More

Food was lovely, the waitress by the name of Georgie I believe, was incredibly rude, disinterested and lazy. She diverted all her attention to her mobile and left other waitresses and bar staff doing her job for her. Food was very good. Lovely variety for all my family and generally a very inviting and friendly place.

Came to the bell with my friends, 6 of us in total, for a New Year's Day meal, arrived around 7pm, the welcome we received from the very dapper young barman, (loved the bow tie) was very professional and accommodating, they had a good range of ales on tap, which my friend was very pleased about! (He loves his ale)... More

What a turn around, visited this site in the summer, it was very busy possibly down to the beautiful surroundings of Frampton on Severn, its a favoured spot of ours to walk our dogs. In the summer it took a bit of time to be served at the bar mainly due to the large numbers of drinkers in the gardens... More

As a family of 4 with 2 teenage children it's hard to find a restaurant providing for all our tastes. We chose the Bell for its sophisticated, traditional Christmas menu and it's exactly what we got. We were greeted by happy, welcoming staff who accompanied us to our table which had been decorated with festive features (lovely touch!) Our starters... More

We were a large pre booked party on what turned out to be a lunchtime of many other parties. Some items were sold out even though we booked in at an early time. The service was the slowest I think I have ever had, we must have waited an hour for our main courses. The prank cocktail, my favourite starter... More
