Good Lunch

Had a good lunch here, but have to agree about the service. Had a 3 course lunch, but only saw waiting staff when they bought food, would have been nice to have been asked if everything was Okay, but that aside food was good. Would probably visit again if in the area

The guy that served our drinks and took food orders should perhaps find a job where arguing with customers works because it ruined an otherwise great evening. He didn't listen to drinks orders (poured a full pint of lager not lager shandy, started to fill with Fosters when the customer asked for "anything but Fosters and the told the customer... More

We dropped in for a light lunch - just a lovely interesting village and a fine pub. We decided to have starters - Brie deep fried, Calamari, Pate, Slow roast Pork and Sheep cheese. Each one a delight and so nicely served and all at the same time. Being a bit of a pig I had the coffee and 1/2... More

Decided to book for B&B for one night. Very picturesque village and good range of cider available. Food and service were OK and room was fine. Main problems were noise outside our room from people drinking outside the pub and the really annoying music being plyed at a volume that made sleeping impossible. The noise outside became intolerable when some... More

Needed to do some business hosting for out of town visitors. Thought the Bell as know it well and the English "On the Green" setting. The lunch deal £7.50 for two courses, although limited in choice, was excellent. Have used it three times in as many weeks.

Have been here many times before and sat outside. Lots of benches to sit overlooking the green and a garden out the back with a play area. Reserved a table for a meal. The ales were good and the lager. They also have a cloudy apple cider which was really nice. We had a good table by the window and... More

We booked lunch for 8 as the cumulation of a reunion weekend with our old London walking friends. I must admit to being a little worried as to the standard of food having only eaten here once before when I had a VERY indifferent steak ciabatta. However, I must say I was pleasantly surprised; we had a nice table upstairs... More

Had to use my voucher before June, so the we went to The Bell Inn, near to the M5 / A38 at Frampton on Seven. Reviews suggested the service was slow, so we went early. The Chef prepared the best steaks we have had in the last 12 months and I asked that he was told by the waiting staff... More
