Decided last minute on a celebratory lunch for my daughter passing her theory test. There were 7 of us altogether. The service was great and food fantastic. A big thanks to all members of staff.

On a dry day last week we decided to go walking and parked at the Bell. Walked the length of the village to the Canal, then along a very muddy tow path to Fretherne Bridge and back to the Bell for lunch. We had a warm welcome, an excellent meal with good service. The pub was packed, as it was... More

Visited the Bell Inn today for Sunday lunch with a friend, we both had the lamb and the food was superb, the lamb was perfectly cooked as were the vegetables and the roast potatoes. The only thing I would say that although the portions of the vegetables were ample for me I think for some people with a bigger appetite... More

We stopped off for a quick lunch so we didn't have to eat motorway food. The reception was welcoming and the food good value and hearty. Impressive that it was all home made. Would definitely return.

The Bell is one of the nicest, warmest, friendliest places I've ever eaten. The staff are friendly, the food is stunning, both well presented and amazing in taste. The menu offers a wide variety of food and there is a good range of ales. The views across the common are stunning and this pub is one of the best places... More

Ideal for a relaxing sunday lunch, plenty of choice and well cooked and presented. Watching the youngsters playing cricket in late Sept was a pleasant distraction.

I ate here a while ago, and was very happy with the service, the happiness of the person who was serving me. I think his name was Ryan and he was a very nice lad.

The pub is in a lovely spot, and the kids loved running about in the garden. The staff were friendly and helpful, but the food was distinctly average. The lamb was overcooked, the gammon almost burnt and the scampi almost entirely batter. We won't be back.
