Butter chicken and something called wamba samba. Omg sooo delish! Best Indians in Chester le street. Service was ok, but a lot of people were waiting to take away, so I didn't mind waiting as the food is worth the wait.

First time visit but won't be the last loved it! Great little place, welcoming staff & fantastic food couldn't fault it. Great choice with some different than the norm choices, good decor well worth a visit.

The venue is smart, clean and welcoming. The staff are wonderful and very accommodating. The food however was average for the 12 people in the group, 4 of which have had deli belly immediately after the visit. Personally I wouldn't go again, £250 for all wasn't worth it I'm afraid.

No welcome, no smiles so very difficult to rate the service at even average. Chasing drinks and courses spoils any evening. Really salty food that really does not stand out from the crowd.

I live pretty close to the Cookson, and as I and my partner are both fans of Indian food, we visit fairly regularly. I can't say I've ever had a bad meal there, and I've always found the service to be attentive without being overbearing. My partner's father is a curry connoisseur, and being from Bradford he has a selection... More

Tried once and did not care for the over the top owner-surely 1/2 visits to the table should be enough. Also we wre next to a table of women who proceeded to totally ruin our evening by there loud gufforing and crude jokes-the owner never visited THERE table or asked them to show a bit respect for other diners. The... More

Exceptional choice of meals, many of which I'd never heard of prior to arrival (not your usual suspects). I have not yet had a sit down meal from this restaurant; however, I have tried numerous different meals as takeaways but have yet to be disappointed with price, value for money or flavour. The staff are always friendly and the service... More
