Booked a table for 8 people at 7.30pm, we were quickly shown to our seats and after 30 minutes we had to ask for a drink - not a good start. We all decided what meal we would like but again the waiters were not in a hurry to take our order. I decided on Bhuna Chicken on Puree for... More

We found this place on trip advisor whilst visiting for the weekend. We were a bit dubious when we first pulled up as the restaurant is situated on the edge of a housing estate. However do not let this put you off! The staff were attentive and very friendly and the food was amazing! The onion bhaji's were the best... More

Hide gem ...tucked at the back of a rail way station on a housing estate .....not what you would expect. Not a massive indian fan but this food was really good. With alittle help from the waiter we made a good choice. Make the trip you wont be disapointed

I've been to this restaurant many times since its been open and it's really good, excellent food at very reasonable prices. I would recommend Wamba Samba.

Went here for a quiet bite to eat and was incredibly surprised by the quality and range of dishes on offer. Really good service, decent wine at a decent price and food as good as Raval in Gateshead. The only reason I haven't given it 5 stars is because parking can be an issue when it's busy and there's nowhere... More

Weve been to the Cookson Spice a few times and each occasion it's always thoroughly enjoyed. Generously sized starters and generously sized mains but an absolute treat that never disappoints. Nice restaurant atmosphere sometimes not many tables in but this never seems to matter.

Arrived at this Indian and it we were welcomed by one of the waiters who showed us to our seat! The restaurant was very quite as we were the only ones in about 7:30am. I ordered a starter of chicken tikka and a chicken Balti for main!! Never ever tasted an Indian like this... It was BEAUTIFUL!! Would recommend this... More

Went here on a Friday night with my partner we expected it to be busy but it wasn't in the restaurant. We ordered mixed kebab starters which we're delicious and meat was lovely and tender and just so tasty! For main I decided to order a lamb kohari (I normally try to stay away from lamb as not always cooked... More
