Top notch food and service. Don't hesitate to go.

Superb food and superb service. My lamb and spinach was perfect. I cannot rate this highly enough. I just wish I lived a bit closer!

What can we say...best Indian food ever. So near to visit and enjoy every visit. The prices are very reasonable and quality of meals superb, so one of our favourite restaurants when choosing to eat out.

It's not the first time we've ate here and it won't be the last, the food and service here is outstanding. The menu is different from other Indian restaurants which just sets it apart. It has a varied menu to suit any palette and the staff can't do enough to accommodate your needs. If your looking for good Indian food... More

We first discovered Cookson in March having been to what we thought was the best around, 18 Indian restaurants we have tried and this can not be beat in all aspects of dining out. The food is superb and always ample, if you can't manage it they offer to wrap up for you to take home. The staff are very... More

We last visited the Cookson Spice a few weeks ago (Friday 19th June) and we really enjoyed our meal. We have been on a few occasions previously but the Cookson has quickly become one of our firm favourites. The service is always brilliant, very friendly and professional - the manager is always keeping an eye on the running of things... More

Been here a few times for special occasions and love it! Staff are so friendly and the food is amazing, best i've had actually. Not to pricey and you can tell the food is cooked fresh and taken time to cook to perfection! A must try!

A nice, cosy independent business with a sociable atmosphere. The foot was great and the menu is very varied compared to other curry-houses. Just be aware of the temperature. When the restaurant is full, it's absolutely sweltering. The tables are very close together too so it gets quite stuffy. Still enjoyed our visit though.

Had a meal at this restaurant on a Sat evening in a party of seven people. The food ordered and served was very nice and the lager was ok as well. The service was ok but it semed as though they had a waiter who had never done this work before and ended up giving our bill to a couple on another... Booked a table for 8 people at 7.30pm, we were quickly shown to our seats and after 30 minutes we had to ask for a drink - not a good start. We all decided what meal we would like but again the waiters were not in a hurry to take our order. I decided on Bhuna Chicken on Puree for... More
