Wonderful View, Matching Food

We stopped in for lunch after our 2 morning g dives just because we bicycled past the sign. The restaurant sports a nice deck right on the water, a bit upscale, for the island and clean, fresh restrooms. The short menu is what you'd expect, raw or cooked fish, a couple burger options and even a... read more

Nice place, just around the Six passengers diving center. Very frindly staff and quite good food. Just in front of the lagoon.

The sign was a little worn but it pointed to the beach and we turned down the dirt road and arrived at a lovely building right on the beach with a porch where you could dine. We ordered salad with fresh tuna and it was THE most delicious tuna I have ever had...super fresh lettuce (not frisee) and the tuna... More

We were picked up at our resort and delivered to the Grill. We were able to sit on the patio and look out over the beautiful ocean and watch the sunset. I had their tuna and my husband had the surgeon plates. Both were excellent. The Chef was also the waiter and our taxi cab driver. A great little restaurant... More

The chef opened for a few couples on a Sunday night when he is normally closed. We were thankful to have a great meal prepared by him. The menu was offered on a chalkboard based on what was fresh, and we could tell all of the fish and vegetables were never frozen. Great experience all around.

We were diving at 6 Passengers, and came here for lunch every day. Whilst we initially only wanted a snack, we are so pleased they do not do snacks. We ate perfectly grilled fish every day, it was delightful. The service was super too. After a few days, we didn't even need to order. They saw us coming and our... More

home cooked fish dinner, very fresh, nothing fancy but good. It was kind of funny to go in the Kia Ora van with other Kia Ora guests, and we were the only ones there. It seems to be a nice little mom and pop restaurant that basically serves Kia Ora.

We literally stumbled across this restaurant while kayaking. We were treated to the best meal of our trip. The fish was extremely fresh and excellently prepared. We are on a deck over-looking the ocean. And the proprietors were delightful. We had a very fun afternoon!

Good quantity of food but very limited menu (e.g., fish or meat). No wine menu. The food was cool not hot and only average in tastiness. I would never return to this restaurant.
