The entire meal was amazing! The service was excellent. We had the prix fix menu and it was a LOT of food! definitely worth the price but we could have easily split one appetizer and skipped dessert ( although what fun is that?) the price was totally reasonable. One of our favourite meals in France!

An traditional restaurant in the historic Villefranche de Conflent at the foot of the Pyrenees. Very welcoming and good service. The lunchtime plat du jour, lasagne & salad was very tasty big portions & reasonably priced too.

This is one of the best restaurants we have found in the region and have had a number of excellent meals there on our own and with friends. Strange days for opening so check it out first of all. Probably gets very busy in the tourist season, but it has a lot of locals which has to be a good... More

Congenial atmosphere, prompt service and delicious cooking at this restaurant in Villefranche Le Conflent. Local people had recommended this restaurant to us and we could see why. The food is based on regional Catalan cooking with a modern twist. Probably the most popular restaurant in town, so booking is advised during the summer.

We were staying with friends nearby and 7 of us ate at this restaurant on a recommendation. We liked the ambiance of the place and, again on advice, we had the 27 euro menu. The food was excellent -four courses including cheese. All well presented and cooked and in sufficient amounts but not over facing. Service was very friendly and... More

We are so happy to have heeded the advice of an elegant elderly local gentleman whom we met while visiting Villefranche-le-Confluent, and have lunch at the Restaurant La Senyera, as our meal was, without a doubt, the best we had during our trip to Southern France. The young chef, a member of "Les Toques Blanches du Roussillon", creates highly innovative... More

The food was not bad, but not special either. Friendly service though. I liked the kir with saffron from Sahorre best.

We were dispairing of a good place to eat in Parades until we came across this restaurant just down the road in Villefranche. We have been travelling for two months and this was one of three memorable meals. We had a €27 meal of exceptional food, well presented and the service was excellent, very friendly. We ordered a good bottle... More

This restaurant, in the heart of the medieval village of Villefranche de Conflent, has dropped "Le Grill" from its name and now just calls itself Restaurant La Senyera. Four superb courses for the equivalent of about £20 is fabulous value at any time. Salade de gésiers, émincé de magret de canard, soft gentle goat's cheese and moelleux de chocolat --... More
