On the High Street in the pretty village of Great Missenden sits this little buzzing gem of a tapas restaurant. Think tapas, think of Spain but the clever chef here has hon beyond the borders of Iberia and ventured to The Far East for inspiration. He delivers small plates packed full of flavour. I opted for two cold dishes, teriyaki... More

The food and service is some of the best around. The staff are also very helpful and will run through the tapas on the menu with you. It is very clean inside and all the food we had was very well cooked and presented . It is also of the highest quality in taste and presentation. Highly recommended whether for... More

Variety and quality of food was first-rate, combined with good service even though the place was quite busy. I honestly can't remember when I last enjoyed a meal more !

I have eaten here a couple of times now and the food is always of a very good standard. The menu is well prepared and there is an excellent vegetarian choice. They also do great cocktails! Also, if you are planning to go on a Fri or Sat I'd recommended booking in advance!

We have enjoyed several lunches and dinners at Origins and tonight it was as close to perfect as it can be. The soft shell crab tempura, sea bass with samphire, japanese style chicken parcels and vegetable tempura were all memorable and the rioja a perfect accompaniment . The welcome was friendly and warm and the service attentive without being intrusive.... More

The setting is great, the atmosphere relaxed and the food is excellent. The food is of the highest quality and having tried almost every dish I can strongly recommend this restaurant. The prices are reasonable too. The Slow-Cooked Belly of Pork is perfection!

What a find! The staff are knowledgable about the menu and were helpful in advising how many dishes to order. The variety, quality and flavours of the food is excellent. We loved it.

It's always hard to find good tapas, especially since big chains seem to have swamped the market, but this place is great. Possibly the best scallops I've ever eaten! The atmosphere is fun and lively, and the staff were helpful without being over the top.

Have previously had some brilliant nights here, with amazing service. However, latest visits have been marred by surly and arrogant waitresses. We had to make more than one trip to the bar to chase up forgotten food and drinks. Beware of ordering anything too close to last orders - even if you are well within time and it's a quiet... More
