Stopped in for early dinner after a long motorcycle ride. The special was fishcakes served with coleslaw and potato wedges. Fishcakes were made with haddock and had a very nice flavour and texture. Only appeared to be one waitress but the restaurant wasnt very busy so service was ok.

Easy to miss when driving along, but keep your eyes open for it, it's worth the stop. Nice spacious dining room. Good food. Friendly service. Definitely recommended.

We had been traveling a long while and so, we were delighted to find this little restaurant. We were warmly greeted and very happy with the offerings. The salad was large, beautifully presented and delicious and so were the "side roasties" and coffee. All this and there was change out of a $20 bill.

We arrived at Bings at 7 pm on Wednesday night for dinner. Their hours are not posted and it did not occur to us that it would shut so early. The problem is there is absolutely nowhere else to eat in the area. So they said we could do takeaway corn chowder or/and salad. We opted for two chowder and... More

We arrived just before they closed for the evening but were not hurried in any way. The food was delicious and reasonably priced.

The meal was Very good! Live music, ( Although I thought was at times a little loud for the size of the room) Very good musician... More

We went here for lunch on way to the Tidal Bore rafting place. Bing's was the best part of the trip. The meal was slow, but when it came it was worth the wait. I can't pinpoint why, but my cheeseburger was one of the best I've ever had. Maybe it was the sourdough bun, but I suspect it was... More

Salad, soup, club sandwiches and pasta; were the things we ordered. So far it has been the best food on our road trip. If your in Maitland make sure you visit. If your in Truro it won't be a long drive and the food is great. Enjoy!!!
