Yummy food in a nice cafe

Atmosphere was very relaxed. The cafe itself is also very rustic, but small. The service wasn't out of the ordinary.I had a smoothie and tapas, and I would definitely recommend. The food was well priced and I thought everything was delicious.

I had the picho De lomo the BBQ in front of you the drinks are very good specially the house drink that is made out pasión fruit, orange and ginger very refreshing a little over price but remember there is no many options here and the food was so good there is worth the money. I recomended.

Cafe bonsai is worth the trip from Santa Marta for the coffee alone! The food is also great, sandwiches are made to order on a selection of home made breads. Smoothies are great too!

The food was fresh and it´s nice to create your own sandwiches but there´s better, more filling options around for similar prices. The service was good as was the coffee, just a shame it was only luke warm!

If you're a coffee or bread lover, come to this place. Their espresso was one of the best in Colombia! They're also a bakery and they make proper bread!!! It's not white and sweet like everything else in South America! As a bonus they have air conditioning and wifi.

Delicious espresso coffee, fantastic homemade breads, air conditioning and wifi. Yes these are a rare combination in Colombia - especially in Taganga. This makes Cafe Bonsai a must visit if you want to escape the heat and enjoy a top notch espresso in aircon comfort.

We atehere a few times during our stay - the bread, coffee and mojito's were so good we couldn't not! Unfortunately the service was rather slow. I've been in Colombia a few weeks now and am used to it being slow, but this was painful. On our last day we got there at opening as we had a bus to... More
