Nice located

Torekov is a small town but even here you can find nice restaurant. Prices are more or less the same as other restaurants located on the seaside. I revisited Swenssons at a nice autumn day to enjoy the season to pass by in Torekov. I still have good memories of the food and good company here and I am sure I will visit them again, next year. For me, they have the best food, created of pure local products.

We stay in Torekov every summer for more than 25 years and have also visited this establishment once every summer the last years. But no more. It has always been over priced and the last years also pretentious. This is probably because the place is targeting the "nouveau riches" type of visitors primarily from the Stockholm area and expats, visiting... More

An oasis of quality in the Torekov culinary scene, Swensons remains a safe bet. The homey ambiance and fresh decor creates a space that is welcoming and befitting to all, from beach bums to the occasional A list celebrity. The food is elegant without being overly complicated, and is so fresh you get the sense that a local farmer came... More

Despite being a nice venue and location, this is very poor value for money! They charge extra ordinary high prices for food and wine but all of the food we got was cold when served and the meat of a poor quality. Their fish was ok but not worth the money. Don't go there unless you don't know how to... More

Great food, great service, great atmosphere! Ask for a cocktail made with Karlsson's Gold potato vodka - it's a local vodka made from new potatoes that are grown only in this region!

A nice place for a meal, with excellent staff and a good kitchen. Just a few dishes on the menue, all with good quality.

This is an outstanding family run restaurant, with loads of history to back up the excellent service, fantastic food, and very well matched wine list. Really nice atmosphere and so close to the harbour for a nice stroll after dinner. Definitely a must visit if in the area!
