ended up paying ridiculous prices for a terrible meal. Lasagne was slushy and tasted cheap and the rest was making us all feel sick. Everything was loud and nobody could concentrate on eating anyway, definatly won't be coming back for food & as for cleanliness there was food on the floor that wasn't from us.

This was one of the best carvery's I have had. The meat was beautifully carved and very succulent and even the veg was cooked nicely and obviously fresh. The service was very good, the staff courteous and no waiting although very busy! As for the Christmas pudding, it was without doubt the nicest pud I have eaten in any restaurant.

Having visited the pub several years ago my wife and I had hoped for a decent pub lunch this time round. How wrong we were. In between some frantic rushing around a smiling young girl was apologetic for the delay in serving me. Given that there was a reasonable number of people booked in I found it difficult to understand... More

A dozen of us went here recently as a little goodbye meal for a work colleague and I must admit I was very surprised at the standard of all the meals. Although not the cheapest food for a pub meal it was well worth it as portions and quality were second to none, as was good service.

We were looking for a place to eat when we were on holiday with our dog. We were made very welcome and so was our dog which was wonderful as it is very difficult to find dog friendly places. The meals were fantastic, very hot, cooked to perfection and The homemade steak and ale pie was beautiful. If we are... More

We had a really lovely Sunday carvery, piping hot and very tasty. We have started to eat at the Turks on a regular basis and find the staff are good and they will go out of the way to ensure your food arrives as you request it, one of our party did not like garlic on one visit so the... More

My children really fancied a prawn cocktail it wasn't on the menu but we asked and chef was happy to accommodate, all I can say is the food was fantastic very hot great chips although you do get a lot of chips. I had the homemade steak and ale pie I would definitely recommend.
