We have dined here before on a couple of occasions and can honestly say it is outstanding in every respect. We went last week for dinner with our daughter, the environment is pleasant , the service professional, the menu imaginative. Plenty of choice, we chose crab profiteroles, scallops, steak, stone bass and finished with assiette de desserts. Fantastic , we... More

My wife & I accidentally pulled into this restaurant car park actually thinking it was somewhere else.....and thank goodness we did! The menu immediately entices you. It's simple, elegant and not at all pretentious. We were greeted in a friendly, inviting manner. The owners clearly have a lot of pride in what they do, and it shows. The food was... More

Thank you Tytherleigh Arms.! We are a local family who booked a "low key" lunch for my daughters birthday. So lovely. Very pleasant friendly staff. Plenty of room.. Restful welcoming decor. A superb meal - we wish we could have eaten more but were rather full of birthday cake before we arrived! We have a holiday cottage nearby and would... More

The pub is easily missed and given its location it is a pity it does not have a nice garden for those days that ask to be enjoyed outside. However the refurbishment inside has produced a really nice setting. The service is pleasant and efficient. Prices are at the top end - its easy to spend £90 for 2 with... More

We have been here today -on our way to Devon- and it was amazing !!! I had scallops(starter) & sole(main) , my boyfriend had crab & ham. Everything was so good, especially sole ! I am a fish person myself, usually eat fish couple of times a week, and it has been awhile I have had so delicious fish! Definitely... More

Went twice last year, and returned this year on our annual visit to the area. Always worried in case standards have fallen when returning to a fantastic restaurant. But no such worries here. The food is of outstanding quality, served in just the right amounts by smiling and efficient staff. The menu makes you want to try just everything, and... More

While staying at nearby Crafty Camping, we decided to have a walk to the nearest pub for , what we thought, was going to be a sandwich and a cider. When we arrived, one look at the menu and we changed our minds! My husband started with a seared pigeon breast, ham hock and parsley croquette, roasted shallot puree and... More

Excellent food, we chose sea trout and pork. Everything was cooked to perfection, very tasty home-cooked style of food and considering it was a Sunday lunch, it was a refreshing change from the roast, roast or roast options available in other places

We used this pub for two meals over the course of a weekend. All 4 dinners were of excellent standard. We can highly recommend Sunday lunch whereby you wont need to eat again for a week due to the generous portions!

This was an excellent restaurant, The mix of cold food in with main courses seemed odd however generally an enjoyable experience.
