The immediate appeal of this restaurant is its location over looking the bay and fishing town of La Azohia. The exterior looks very average but the food is excellent and it's worth pre booking to get a table with front line vista. We had freshly caught sole and it was delicious. Tel 968150 053. I booked this restaurant before I left Northern Ireland as I wanted to make sure we got a table on our first night arriving. A confirmation text from the owner confirmed booking. We arrived & as expected greeted by the staff with welcoming smiles and "Hola, hello & welcome back. Our meal was first class and better than some top restaurants... More

We visit Spain 5 to 6 times every year and since having discovered Antipodas we always make the 40 minute journey every visit. The location is perfect, the waiting staff always remember us and greet us with a warm welcome. The food is always excellent and we always look forward to our next visit. We have just returned from a... More

Excellent for lunch looking out over the sea. Unfortunately some of the waiting staff could be friendlier.

I went for lunch as a guest, we had the meal of the day, which apart from the salad was very poor. I can eat but this menu variable was not for me,plus the fish had an odd taste. Odd taste indeed as I became very ill later with food poisoning ,I contacted my host who was also in the throws... More

Hi, Ate there last week. Amazing location, good service. Only let down was the 'spicey potatoes' served as the first dish of menu del dia. We expected something like patatas bravas. No chance. We got oily chips covered in a sweet ketchup. What a shame. The lucky ones who ordered fish soup were well happy. But chips in ketchup ?... More

We visit this restaurant often when in Isla plana. The food is excellent if eating, €12 for lunch and if you don't feel like eating it is an excellent place to sit an enjoy the scenery with a drink or coffee. Downside; you are a long walk or a short drive away from Isla Plana.

My wife and I were recommended this place and what a delight. Its location is superb overlooking Mediterranean Sea. We had the menu of the day for 12 Euros which was perfect starter salad, simple but tasty, followed by large plateful of marinated fish for me and cream vegetable soup for my wife. I followed this with lovely fish stew... More

Had lunch with friends with great food and a superb setting. So good the wife wanted me to keep this restaurant a secret! Couldn't give it better praise, but don't be in a hurry because you'll want to savour the views and be sure to book.
