Just back to US after 2 weeks in North England. One of very nest meals - had the special, a wonderful sea bream. And, the Sticky Toffee was as good as any Ive had.

This is a lovely pub with excellent food, service and location. We recently visited Craister during a week's holiday to Northumberland and went into the pub for a quick sandwich lunch. I had the best crab sandwich I have ever had and my husband had a ham sandwich which he also really enjoyed. In fact we liked it so much... More

Been a couple of times for Sunday lunch and pleased to say, still excellent. Yorkshire puds were excellent and veg cooked to perfection. Followed by sticky toffee pudding. Perfect 😄

Lovely to call in here after a walk on the headland to Dunstanburgh castle and back to work up an appetite. The crab sandwiches are legendary. Dogs are allowed in the bar, and there are also outside tables with views over the sea.

The last time we visited the Jolly Fisherman was about ten years ago, not much has changed, the crab soup and sandwiches are wonderful, the pub has had a makeover during that time which enhances the visit, if you fancy a walk then continue to Dunstanborough castle well worth the trek.

We popped into the pub for a drink after a walk to Newton and back. We knew then we would like to eat there in the evening. Although fully booked, the staff were friendly and helpful and suggested that we come along a little later and when a table became free they would accommodate us. I'm very glad we did.... More

The family called for a spontaneous lunch today & were really impressed. Crab sandwiches, home made soup & 2 quality kids meals meant for 4 happy chappies! The staff were very helpful & courteous - the food was top quality whilst not being too expensive..the Jolly does Craster proud!!

Have been going there for over forty years as it used to be a favourite of my parents. I am no longer a local and had been looking forward to a meal overlooking the sea. Seemed to me that they now overcharge simply because they can. There is no doubt it is a lovely pub in a great spot, with... More

Booked in advance for a Friday night. Great location with restaurant overlooking the sea/harbour. Good food, though some dishes quite pricey for having no sides. Service a bit hit and miss at the table, though there were lots of young staff about. Only a few parking spaces at the pub, so park at the tourist info and walk down (... More
