We had an excellent lunch here and enjoyed the real ale too . The views from the windows overlooking the sea were tremendous .

Visited this pub / restaurant after reading an article in Octobers edition of Coast magazine and was totally blown away by the amazing food, helpful staff and dog friendly bar area. The Jolly Fisherman has a great outdoor garden looking onto the coastline, dogs are welcome in the bar area which is very relaxed and the restaurant has stunning views... More

What could be finer than fresh crab sandwiches and Timothy Taylor bitter in a pub garden overlooking Craster harbour on a sunny September day? Great pub, sensitively renovated since we were last here a few years ago. Welcoming staff, great food, good beer!

We went with the dogs for a drink at first but settled into a leisurely lunch with drinks. A lovely Ploughman's with some lovely cheeses and a ham toastie that was filled with some lovely ham. Both filled the gap. The staff were very pleasant and efficient and we enjoyed our stay. Well worth a visit.

The pub had been recommended to us with the comment that it had been done up recently and it was the place for crab sandwiches. Yes it has been tastefully renovated with wonderful sea views but I was disappointed. The service we received was delivered by people, who I felt, appeared disinterested. Soup and mussels were too creamy again for... More

Our first visit to Northumberland and my husband is unable to walk far, so we sat on the terrace with the view of Dunstanburgh Castle in the distance and great views out to sea. We both had the fish platter which was delicious and full of variety. Side order of chips which were crispy on the outside - perfect. Good... More

We worked up an appetite by walking to and from Dunstanburgh Castle and were thus on the point of starvation when we returned to Craster. Service was as good as the views over the sea, beers from a good choice for enthusiasts and has everything to recommend it, all food is locally sourced and excellent.
