Good food, fast and (a little too) efficient service

This is first of all, by it's name, a pizzeria but the pizza's were just o.k. and nothing more. we had much better pizza at other places in Italy. The salads, however, was fresh and good and the Tiramisu we had for dessert was quite nice. The price was reasonable.

We loved this place. Noisy, atmospheric, full of locals, good simple food freshly prepared and quickly served. At least that's our experience. We were recommended it by our hosts on our first night and ate there another 3 times. We don't do that very often. No place will hit the spot every time, but this one became our go-to for... More

Won't be going back any time soon. Wanted to have a nice dinner, due to my husbands health, very disappointing service. We weren't eating pizza, we had a 3 course meal.

It was a really Italian place to eat. Full of local people. The staff were welcoming and helpful and the food was wonderful Tasty, well prepared and well presented and the price was below what you would expect for the meal.

Actually rather good place, with great service, fairly broad menu (pizzas are the specialty but they have other dishes as well). Ambiance is not bad. When the weather is good, there is an outdoor terrace. Part of the restaurant is across the street in an annex. The restaurant is very easy to find, good signage (even at night). Parking is... More

A man sitting next to me on the plane to Italy told me of a restaurant to try in a small town we were visiting. My husband and I love local places away from tourists. And this one was perfect!!! Small town atmosphere where customers knew each other. Recco is the home of focaccia so I had a pizza made... More

This pizzeria has rocketed in popularity. Expect a queue at the weekend and any warm summer evening. Food is served quickly and well. If you like food, pay attention to the "specials" board, often there are real treats to be found here, but confirm the price before you order a board item. So why has this particular pizzeria become so... More

tables are very packed, place can be noisy, but this is a Pizzeria, and it is so succesful that it is always packed. Ponte beats all the traditional Recco's restaurant on the Focaccia al Formaggio, really outstanding! A delicacy, a mastrepiece. > don't order on tuesday, the focaccia's chef has his day off and his apprentice ... Needs time. Pizza... More
