If you are looking for an excellent meal in Brussels that doesn't cost the earth, look no further than this lovely little restaurant tucked away just off the centre. I was greeted on arrival with a shot of homemade vegetable soup that I liked so much I had it as a starter. Then veal escalope with gorgonzola with a nest... More

Convenient, ok veal, ravioli, rubbish red wine in carafe, lots of garlic (but real garlic, not synthetic)

The place is discreet, you could almost miss it if you didn't know where to look. But honestly, it's a place to go if you want great food. We've been there numerous times and always have been surprised and over satisfied with our meals. Whether we chose to eat meat, fish or pasta, we've been served the most savoury dishes.... More

As I write, I am part of a group of ten. Some of us wanted starters (which have been served and were excellent) but, an hour after we ordered, we are still waiting for the mains. There are just two waitresses who are doing their best to serve a busy restaurant spread over two floors. Clearly massively understaffed.

This was the best meal I had in Belgium. Amazing pasta and great house wine. The place is very small and you can watch the cook making your pasta. I had a ravioli with truffle oil. Oh my word, it was incredible. Paper-thin hand-made raviolis, fresh tomatoes and basil, plus a generous helping of truffle oil and shaved white truffles.... More

We were the first to arrive at this restaurant at 6.30pm on a Monday night. We enjoyed two courses of Calves Livers (to die for) followed by Tiramisu/ Tarte Tatin equally good. By 7.30pm when we left the restaurant was heaving. You can watch your food be freshly prepared in the kitchen from your table as it is open plan.... More

Went to this restaurant on recommendation from an office nearby. The first course came fairly quickly and was okay but we had to wait over more than 90 minutes for the main course. We saw people who came after us, being served. When we were finally served, the waitress offered no apology. The main course was bland and not very... More

A friend and I had lunch here during a recent visit to Brussels. A cosy restaurant, it is lovely to have views into the kitchen, staff are very friendly, food excellent and freshly-prepared. I look forward to a return visit to sample more of the wonderful dishes on offer.

We dined here tonight after walking 13 miles ,the last couple in heavy rain. Our hotel ( to be reviewed later) was opposite the chateau and welcoming. They recommended this restaurant only a few minutes walk from the hotel. It was not too busy at seven when we arrived, but by the time we left around nine ,I think they... More
